Dub Infusions invites Subway

Toen in de zomer van 2010 bekend werd dat de Watt haar deuren zou sluiten, was dat niet alleen een klap voor de stad Rotterdam, maar ook voor een van de oudste dubstep feesten die Nederland rijk is. Subway, ongeveer tegelijk opgericht met Dub Infusions, was voor de tweede keer in korte tijd haar huis kwijt. De Nederlandse dubstep scene besloot echter al snel om Subway bij te staan en zodoende toert het inmiddels in Off_Corso gevestigde feestje heel Nederland door. Op 18 februari vindt de lang gewenste samenwerking tussen Dub Infusions en Subway plaats in Tivoli de Helling en het programma, door beiden samengesteld, windt er geen doekjes om. Dit beloofd een heel speciale editie te worden.
For this special edition Dub Infusions has invited Subway for a lineup that will ring sweet sweet melodies into your ears... If you have been following Dubstep from early on then you’ll know our headliner has been rocking and pushing dubstep in the USA area from day dot... He has played the legendary DOUR festival where his set got burnt into everybody’s eardrums... Finally after 3 years he makes his return... Mr "5 for the rewind" himself "JOE NICE"!!
And to support this USA heavyweight we have another special guest coming over from Bristol.. He has played Holland a few times already and every time he knows how to surprise a dance... He is known as Rob Smith.. Smith & Mighty... but also under his latest moniker.. "RSD".. His recent remix of legendary Dub artist Scientist is just too much pressure to handle.. so you better make sure you got your skanking feet on..

Op vrijdag heb ik niet vaak meegemaakt dat ze uitverkocht zijn bij de deur. Zeker als je voor 2400 binnen wil.

Door familie omstandigheden kan Joe Nice er vrijdag helaas niet bij zijn. Dat is super jammer natuurlijk, maar niet getreurd: we hebben TUNNIDGE weten te strikken om voor hem in te vallen. Is dat effe lekker!
