We are teaming up with Rastaplas Festival to welcome one of the most iconic sound systems in the Netherlands. King Shiloh Sound System brings their stacks to Leiden with the full setup, the full crew and the deep roots energy they have carried across the world for more than three decades.
Founded in Amsterdam in 1991 and inspired by Jah Rastafari, King Shiloh has grown into an international force within roots reggae and dub. Their handmade forty kilowatt six way stereo sound system sits at the centre of everything they do. It is the engine behind their sessions, their label Majestic Music and their reputation as pioneers across Europe.
King Shiloh is known as the traveling sound. In the past twenty years they have covered more ground with their system than any other in Europe, their presence has shaped the culture far beyond the Netherlands.
