🌟 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐬
Interested parties wishing to participate in the Canal Parade 2025 are able to register between January 3rd – February 2nd 2025 and submit their concept. After the registration is closed, a ballot committee decides which 80 applications are the most beautiful and best fitted to the theme of 2025 (to be announced). On February 9th, during our annual kickoff event, we will announce the 80 participants for the Canal Parade, which will be held on August 2nd 2025.

To ensure a safer and more enjoyable Canal Parade, Pride Vignettes were introduced in 2019. These have greatly enhanced safety and event management, improving the experience for everyone, from participants to spectators.

Join us at the world-famous Canal Parade in a specially designated accessible area along the quay. This space is reserved for you and a companion. To ensure a seamless experience with adequate restroom facilities and seating, please register in advance for your free entry ticket. Pride Amsterdam takes place in the heart of the city. This isn't a festival site in a distant field—it's in the front yard of the people who live here. Whether you're on the streets, on a boat, or elsewhere, please make thoughtful choices! We’ve arranged hundreds of extra toilets and waste stations for the day of the parade. An overview/locations will be shared on our social media channels and remember: public spaces aren’t for peeing. Fines start at €140!

You’ve got one of the coveted Pride Vignettes and are preparing for the Canal Parade, that's fun! Think creatively about decorating your boat. Choose eco-friendly materials and work with friends to minimize waste. Let’s keep the celebration beautiful and clean!

Traveling by Train?
Yes, please! Arrive at Amsterdam Centraal or Amstel Station, then walk to the Parade towards the Amstel & Prinsengracht.

We advise against driving into the city on parade day. If you must drive, reserve a parking spot in advance at secure Q-Park facilities or use Park & Ride options: https://www.amsterdam.nl/en/parking/park-ride/
From there, trams and metros will bring you directly to the city center. Arrive early to beat the crowds!
