As the Canal Parade returns to the enchanting canals of Amsterdam for its 28th edition, prepare for an unmatched celebration of color and diversity! Be who you are, love who you want, and let your inner beauty shine. It’s your moment to dazzle and sparkle, beautiful!

Interested parties wishing to participate in the Canal Parade 2025 are able to register between January 3rd – February 2nd 2025 and submit their concept. After the registration is closed, a ballot committee decides which 80 applications are the most beautiful and best fitted to the theme of 2025 (to be announced). On February 9th, during our annual kickoff event, we will announce the 80 participants for the Canal Parade, which will be held on August 2nd 2025.

To ensure a safer and more enjoyable Canal Parade, Pride Vignettes were introduced in 2019. These have greatly enhanced safety and event management, improving the experience for everyone, from participants to spectators.

Join us at the world-famous Canal Parade in a specially designated accessible area along the quay. This space is reserved for you and a companion. To ensure a seamless experience with adequate restroom facilities and seating, please register in advance for your free entry ticket. Whether you're on the streets, on a boat, or elsewhere, please make thoughtful choices! We’ve arranged hundreds of extra toilets and waste stations for the day of the parade. An overview/locations will be shared on our social media channels and remember: public spaces aren’t for peeing. Fines start at €140!
