Rotor Militia is a Rotterdam based electronic music project focusing on a
combination of techno driven digital beats and hypnotic abstract layers of
ritualistic and synthetic sounds.
Growing up on the Dutch dancefloors around the 90’s and 00’s, both members
of the collective were highly influenced by the darker, harder styles of electronic
music. While listening to early releases on labels such as PCP, Industrial Strength
and R&S they both found their way into the illegal rave circuit where the more
experimental / edgier stuff was being played. These influences in combination
with a special interest in dark ambient and noise led them to create their own
sonic signature.
After some illustrious endeavors throughout Europe with the infamous ZMK
Sound System, the duo eventually teamed up and have been producing music
together since 2019 with their first release appearing on ‘Double Cross’, a label
which concentrates mainly on dark, experimental and breakbeat oriented
music.
Besides producing music, the duo initiated a new project called ‘Mechanism’, a
forward thinking organization focused on presenting and releasing
adventurous techno music. The aim of ‘Mechanism’ is to push the limits of the
sonic palette and to contribute to the intersection of dancefloor rituals with
abstract sensory experiences. Besides organizing experimental club nights, the
organization also runs the ‘Mechanism’ record label which releases vanguard
electronic music emerging from human machine interactions.

Resident dj at OT301 in Amsterdam, no28 has played in clubs, raves and festivals across Europe, such as Stubnitz, WORM, Rencontres Alternatives, ADE... radio stations: kashmirlounge, hill street Blues, patapoe, ot301radio...
No28 will play between old and new selection of industrial techno with acid and hardcore touch.
