Vinyl Speed Adjust
Their faultless back catalog boasts a dominance of vinyl releases on the likes of Visionquest, Pressure Traxx & Jesus Loved You, garnering support from genii including Ricardo Villalobos, [a:rpia:r], Barac, Luciano (Official Page) & Valentino Kanzyani, to name but a few.
As demonstrated by their choice of pseudonym, the pair are vinyl aficionados, with both of their labels pushing out nothing short of sheer quality underground wax. Their Crystal Structures Records imprint focuses more on old school caliber artists, with releases to date featuring the likes of Mark Ambrose, Aubrey, Thor, Exos, C- Rock/ Dubstar and Anonym.
Their second imprint, self-titled as VSA Records, debuted in late 2015, and promises to curate an eclectic schedule of releases, both from the boys themselves, alongside a medley of new era artists, each showcasing their respective imaginative sound.
Through their consummate work ethic and refreshing productions, the duo has unsurprisingly caught the ear of some of the industry’s leading and most illustrious figures, and with every one of their releases fast becoming a commodity for some of the finest A&R tastemakers on the circuit, Vinyl Speed Adjust are unquestionably two of Romania's most inventive and promising talents.
-----------
Vlad Arapasu
Having a strong musical background after years of working with his pal under the name of Dubsons, Vlad decides to go solo into the business releasing until now at labels like Atipic, EASTENDERZ, Subtil or UVAR.
Best renowned for his former guise, as one-half of the unostentatious duo ‘Dubsons,’ and co-founder of vinyl only outlet 'Algorhythmic,' Vlad Arapasu skews to the more percussive side of the Romanian spectrum. Incorporating hints of jazz, most likely emanating from his early influences from the likes of Wes Montgomery and Alice Coltrane, Vlad's symbiotic approach to his music has seen his latest compositions acquired by fellow countryman Priku, for his acclaimed 'Atipic' imprint, and more recently on East End Dubs eponymous label 'Eastenderz'.
But whilst his solo production project may be embryonic, Vlad is no newcomer on the DJ circuit. Boasting a 13-year tenure which includes a salient residency at XS club in Iasi, Vlad has cut-his-teeth alongside some of Romania's most illustrious turntable purveyors, including Rhadoo, Raresh, Barac, Cezar and Dubtil, to name but a few.
With a growing reputation as an impeccable sequencer and a discerning ear for exemplary cuts, it is unsurprising that Vlad is now receiving plaudits from across the globe.
