After a summer of festivals we return to Ampere for another episode of unrefined techno music. For our opening night of the season we've decided to focus on the harder and faster side of techno.

» Casual Gabberz [ FR ]

The Parisian based collective, founded in 2013 is pumping fresh blood into a maligned genre bringing a taste of gabber to a contemporary club audience. Their shows can best be described as an unsophisticated, even violent clubbing experience. The aim is to destabilize an often too serious house and techno scene nowadays and claim the Gabber legacy in their context.

Ferry Salee aka Dj Gizmo is one of the originators of the hardcore techno scene raised in the Netherlands during the early nineties. Ferry started playing records at the age of 12 and in the 90s he started sharing the decks with The Dark Raver, Dj Rob and Paul Elstak at Parkzicht in Rotterdam weekly. Then the Rave the City parties came and not much later he was a member of The Dreamteam together with Buzz Fuzz, Dano and The Prophet. Gizmo has released some of our favorite early rave tracks and played some of the most memorable sets in the early nineties. For this occasion he will play an exclusive 91-94 set.

DJ Zwart is a resident of the El Sistema Pasota collective, making waves in the city of Ghent. Morozov has been a dedicated music-lover and Where House enthousiast for as long as we can remember and we're more than happy to host him for the opening set of this hardcore special.
