Starting on a kid’s drumkit and playing with his own band ‘Funkanizers’ when he was 13 years old. He discovered that working as a musician and bandleader is more than playing your gigs. Taking care of logistics, communication, planning, vision and being a great colleague gave him a valuable network of musicians, singers, DJ’s and producers. He started studying drums at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.During his study he continues to tour with his band and with artists like Fais who goes around the world with 100.000.000 streams. Zep has played at lots of Dutch Radio & TV shows and killed at festivals in front audiences of ten thousand and more.
It’s from this fertile ground that Zep & Friends has developed into the awesome show it is nowadays.

KD SOUNDSYSTEM is a five-man song, dance, MC and DJ crew. They are known for their Afro- Caribbean beats, unique live shows and a ton of diversity. Everything KD SOUNDSYSTEM does is grounded in a deep respect for the music they love. Combining effortlessly Dancehall/Reggae, Soca, Baile Funk and Afro-beats with Dance, Bass and Hiphop. Resulting in a unique, genre-transcending live party act with sexy stage work. Good vibes only!
Musical exploration has already led them to many interesting cultures with equally interesting styles of music. In Jamaica, they jammed with the founders of reggae and dancehall and in South Africa the KD crew found themselves right in the middle of the Afrobeats scene. Miami and London no longer hold any secrets for KD Soundsystem either.
