Electroacoustic music composer, performer, alternative music technologist, instrument builder and tutor, Tasos Stamou is maybe best known for his recorded work on the Discrepant and Moving Furniture labels (amongst others). So we are thrilled he's performing a solo gig in the Avantgardistic State!
The gig will put his most recent releases in the spotlight; 'Caveman' on heroic Amsterdam ambient label, Moving Furniture Records, and his new record 'Musique Con Crete', recently out on the Discrepant label. The new release showcases the result of a three-year creative research project across Crete 🇬🇷.

Huib Emmer
Huib Emmer is a composer-performer who writes pieces for orchestra and ensembles. Starting out playing guitar in bands such as Joketus and Loos, Emmer became increasingly interested in electronica in the 1990s. Emmer looks to mix rough and ready soundscapes, scratchy synths and heavy beats.
