ADE programma Sugarfactory compleet

Sugar Factory maakt het programma van Amsterdam Dance Event 2016 compleet met een grote lijst nieuwe bevestigingen waaronder Pablo Nouvelle, Suuns, Blanck Mass, Carl Craig & Friends, Louie Vega, Jazzy Jeff, Cassy, Ellen Allien, Kenny Dope en meer. Van woensdag 19 oktober tot en met zondag 23 oktober staat de zaal met maar liefst twaalf producties in de avond, nacht en ochtend, helemaal in het teken van het internationale dancefestival.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) presenteert in samenwerking met Melkweg, Paradiso en Sugar Factory een tweedaags showcasefestival waar bezoekers en professionals de spannendste nieuwe elektronische live-acts kunnen ontdekken. De eerste editie van ADE Live vindt plaats op donderdag 20 en vrijdag 21 oktober met o.a. RÜFÜS DU SOL, Suuns, Jessy Lanza en CUT_.

Amsterdam Dance Event will join forces with Paradiso Amsterdam, Melkweg Amsterdam and Sugarfactory in preparation of a new festival. As ‘ADE LIVE’, they will take initiative to start a new two-day showcase festival for rising stars in electronic live music. Inspired by well-known festivals such as SXSW (Austin), The Great Escape (Brighton) and Reeperbahn (Hamburg) this festival tries to close the gap between music lovers, bookers and promoters with the latest and greatest from new, upcoming acts. The first edition will take place on the eve of Thursday October 20th and Friday October 21th.
With live music currently taking a more prominent place in the Dance scene, promoters believed it was time to support these new acts by giving them a stage.

The deep voice of singer Tyrone with the typical sultry electronic beats RÜFUS has become quite known for in homeland Australia are a gold combination. Their love for bands like Booka Shade and Trentemoller is audible and these gentlemen are well on their way conquering the rest of the world.
SUUNS
A vicious mix of guitarnoise, compelling krautrock and dark electronic beats: that’s SUUNS Expect a night full of bizarre moments where untenable tension smoothly goes over in a memorably hard urge to dance!
HVOB
HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) is Anna Müller en Paul Wallner. They enchant, with meticulously drawn-out soundscapes and Anna’s exciting whisper-voice. But launch you right back onto the dancefloor as well, without mercy, with pounding techno beats.
SG Lewis
Catchy collabs with a.o. Gallant, Bishop Nehru and JP Cooper and a wonderfully airy voice that comes to life perfectly in between the complex electronic layers of his uptempo tracks. SG Lewis can become an equally grand crowd favorite as James Blake or Mura Masa.
Blanck Mass
Blanck Mass is the solo-project of Benjamin John Power, who you may know as part of Fuck Buttons. In 2011 he released his selftilted debutalbum in which he takes you on a musical journey. With his unexpected mix of synth, techno, minimal and ambient he tells a story during which you have no choice but to move. Get ready to dance in a way you never have before!
Pitto LIVE
Dutch producer Pitto turned heads with his warm blend of deephouse, techno, melancholic pop melodies and vocals. His breakthrough releases 'Feelin' and 'You' earned him Dance music prizes in the Netherlands and he has been on fire ever since.
Fakear
Fakear is Théo Le Vigoreux - an uncannily suitable name for a young producer whose energy is seemingly limitless. At 24 years old, Fakear has already taken his globally-tuned dance music across the world, playing shows from London to Tokyo, supporting Bonobo and selling out Paris’ prestigious Olympia in 2015.
CUT_
The Amsterdam-based electronic duo CUT_ combines catchy pop songs with deep soundscapes. Inspired by acts like Burial, Mount Kimbie, Massive Attack and James Blake, their music is a response to the English Trip-Hop and Bass sound of the past decade with a modern twist. Improvisation and interactive visuals always play an important role in their live performance.
ZES
ZES maneuvers between atmospheric futuristic beats, forward thinking sounds and innovative compositions built to last. With an instinctive ear for blissed out melodies, sometimes topped with his own voice and the subtle use of his guitar to complete the melancholy.
Otzeki
Cousins Mike (vocals and guitar) and Joel (APC/synths) decided to team up and form Otzeki via their mutual appreciation for German producer Ricardo Villalobos. Brooding electronics with a distorted sense of pop, minimal beats in cavernous atmospheres.
Jessy Lanza
Jessy Lanza performs sings and co-produces alongside Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys, a unique and beautiful take on pop and r&b.

Melodic, energetic hiphop beats and synth-led electronics, influenced by the likes of Hudson Mohwake, Cashmere Cat and Rustie.
River Tiber
Producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, earned global attention thanks to 2013 EP The Star Falls and 2015 follow up When The Time Is Right, and for his placements on records by Drake, Travis Scott, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, BADBADNOTGOOD and more.
Vuurwerk
VUURWERK aims to drench the club experience in a comfortable melancholic haze, creating a dissonance between dance music and intimacy. Always on the edge of the underground and the overground pop.
Sofie Winterson
Dreamy indiepop and synthpop from Amsterdam. Sofie Winterson’s music creates a cinematic world through spherical key sounds, electronic drums, reverb(ed) guitars and her powerful, beautiful voice.
Polynation
Fusing moods of electronica with techno, ambient and world music, Polynation is foremost an exciting live act that seeks out to start a musical conversation based on spontaneous interaction, improvisation and a more band-like approach towards electronic music.
