These Guys returns to Closure for a new club night with another profound artist from the 313. The best of both worlds: Detroit house don and hip hop maverick Andrés aka DJ Dez! A certified crate digger and scratch master. He’s been releasing some of the most funkiest house music around since the late ’90s; music where every lick seems to drip with golden soul. But Andrés doesn’t just make house, as his seminal Andrés II album and subsequent releases prove, he’s just as adept making hip-hop, downtempo boogie and more. He’s worked with Theo Parrish, Moodymann, J Dilla and more in his time. After three acclaimed full-length albums for Moodymann's Mahogani Music, which really put him on the map as one of the most versatile figures on the Detroit dance music circuit, he launched his own imprint La Vida in 2012 with the future classic New For U 12".
