De Amsterdammers Maarten en Lars van Detroit Swindle maken zich op voor een nieuwe editie van hun eigen feestje: The Great Escape. Op vrijdag 29 mei staan ze weer op de bijzondere plek waar het allemaal begonnen is. De dansvloer van Studio 80 is een nacht lang het domein van Detroit Swindle en hun gasten: Max Abysmal en Daan Alvering van Bossoyo en Dan Shake GB.
Detroit Swindle are thrilled to be back at their home base Studio 80 for the newest edition of The Great Escape!
Even more thrilling is the new headliner: Dan Shake. This UK artist is a relatively new kid on the block, but don’t let it fool you. He is the first person ever outside of the Detroit crew to release on Moodymann’s imprint Mahogani Music, and rightfully so. Listen to his '3 am Jazz Club' release and you’ll be hooked like Kenny Dixon Jr. is.
With an extra long 3 hour set Dan Shake will make his Amsterdam debut. Detroit Swindle on their turn are also in for a 3 hour set, and Studio 2 will be in the very capable hands of a new and exciting sound coming from The Dam: Bossoyo. It is the love child of Max Abysmal and Daan Alvering, who will transform Studio 2 in their own personal jungle. Either way, don’t sleep on this one, the dance floor is waiting for you..
