Short Description 1055 MiLes
The main idea of the project is to enable children from the area around Minsk (Belarus), a region that is still affected by the Chernobyl disaster, to spend 3 weeks in Leeuwarden (Netherlands) to recover from the contamination. The idea for 1055 MiLes arose from a previous project, which was realized by the Belarusian organization Hope for the Future. In support with the organization it will be possible to enlarge the project and to make it possible for the Belarusian children to spend their recovery in the Netherlands.
The sponsor of the project is the team of Enactus Stenden Leeuwarden, which will work in cooperation with Hope for the Future.
