I guess we don't need to explain ourselves, it's very clear and simple: Retrospective will be a night filled with old skool house and techno classics. Inviting Belgium's most respected pioneers of the electronic music scene to the most blooming club of Limburg: Forty Five, Hasselt.
United Kingdom born DJ/producer CJ Bolland will be headlining this edition! He's one of the key figures and founders of the European techno sound. Back in 1989 he was one of the first producers to be signed to the legendary R&S Records based in Ghent. Also he was the first artist who made an album in the DJ-Kicks series for Studio !K7.
Known around the world for his song "Sugar Is Sweeter" (1996) which hit #1 in the United States and remixes for big ones like Orbital, The Prodigy, Depeche Mode & Moby. Nowadays he's working very hard on his new Magnus project together with Tom Barman, founder and singer for the Belgian rock band, dEUS.
