Don't Let Daddy Know heeft het genoegen om EDM superster Martin Garrix te verwelkomen. De Nederlandse DJ is de hoofdact op de komende editie van DLDK in Nederland. Naast Garrix treden Ummet Ozcan, Deniz Koyu, Dirty South, NEW_ID, Quintino en Sem Vox op. Het zeer populaire dance-event vindt voor de tweede keer plaats in de Ziggo Dome op zaterdag 21 februari 2015.

Denk sws dat die top 5 dj Martin Garrix is, als het DV&LM waren hadden ze wel 1 van de top3 dj's gezecht (staat toch beter zeg ma)

alesso heeft ook zn electro kant, tear the roof up en de SHM sound die die nog wel eens gebruikt in zn tracks. maar je heb idd wel gelijk.
Vrees alleen dat het weer een redelijk generieke line-up zal worden (wat nog steeds goed genoeg is voor een leuk feestje).

Volgende week wordt de line up bekend gemaakt zag ik op de DLDK Facebook. Als deze vet is ben ik er bij.
Hier hoop ik op: Dannic, Dyro, R3hab, Nervo, Deorro, Blasterjaxx en Martin Garrix (lijkt mij zeker te komen). Makj en Alesso lijken me ook echt super. Alesso zal wel zeker niet komen en helaas zal Sem Vox zeker wel komen.

Ultra buenos aires 21 feb... daar draaien axwell & ingrosso volgens hun fb. Denk dat daar ook veel vette namen gaan staan.

Dat zijn ook echt geen namen die op DLDK zullen draaien. Nederland mist gewoon een goed indoor feest voor progressive house liefhebbers die niet van DJ's houden die zo veel mogelijk hitjes in een uur proppen zonder setopbouw of elke minuut '1,2,3 jump' en 'put your fuckikng hands up' roepen.
Energy leek er in de eerste twee versies enigzins op, maar zodra Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano en Shermanology hier mochten draaien in 2013 was dit feest ook ten dode opgeschreven. Ik zie op de ID&T site nog steeds een linkje naar een Energy-pagina staan, terwijl andere oude feesten zijn verwijderd. Ik hoop dan ook nog steeds dat het gat wat er in de markt ligt opgevuld wordt

Nou ik schrap hem. Voor 60 euro spreekt deze line up me niet aan.
Vind de line-up niet super slecht, maar voor €60,00 mag je toch wel wat meer verwachten denk ik zo! Als je kijkt naar vorig jaar zijn de kaarten duurder geworden en de line-up is naar mijn mening wel een aanzienlijk stuk minder. Zal het vast naar m'n zin hebben, maar hou toch een dubbel gevoel over aan de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding..

Ik vind dit op zich een mooie line-up (Deniz Koyu en Dirty South vind ik top), maar niet mooi genoeg om mij ervan te weerhouden naar ASOT te gaan. Hopelijk zijn de twee evenementen volgend jaar niet in hetzelfde weekend ...
Nice lineup! Hoop alleen dat de timetable goed in elkaar zit. Heel vet om Dirty South live te zien en hoop prime time knallen met Garrix en Ummet Ozcan. Ummet in Belgie knalde het dak eraf 
De reacties op Facebook zijn niet mals, veel mensen hadden graag weer DV&LM, Sander van Doorn, DVBBS en Showtek gezien (praktisch hetzelfde als dit jaar). De organisatie heeft inmiddels gereageerd:

Niet dat daar iets mis mee is maar voor 60 euro wel. Bij Jingle Ball afgelopen weekend hadden we voor 35 euro W&W, Nicky Romero en Firebeatz. Waarom is dit dan zo achterlijk duur?

Het is maar net wat je volgt. Voor mij zijn Deniz Koyu en Dirty South behoorlijk grote namen, alleen hier in Nederland zien we dat niet. Dirty South is het afgelopen jaar wat rustiger gaan draaien, maar daarvoor kon hij ook ontzettend knallen. Zijn set op ML '13 was abnormaal fijn. Zijn album is wel goed te beluisteren en geeft een goed beeld van zijn progressive house: vooral Unbreakable is erg fijn en Walking on the sun en natuurlijk City of dreams met Alesso.
Ik verwacht een mooier show bij DLDK dan bij JingleBall was, daarbij denk ik dat de artiesten bij 538 hun fee wat lager is vanwege andere belangen (commerciële verbintenis) en zoals een nieuw publiek wat ze bereiken.
Ik vind het een hele fijne line up, waar je een goede opbouw mee kunt hebben. Gelukkig geen artiesten als DV & LM / DVBBS.

Dirty South draait al een tijdje mee en heeft in het verleden samengewerkt met Alesso (City of Dreams) en Axwell (Open Your Heart en een remix van Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition). Zeker de remix van Sweet Disposition blijft voor mij één van de beste platen ooit. Deniz Koyu heeft ooit een hit gehad met Tung! enheeft daarna ook nog goede platen gemaakt die veelvuldig door andere DJs werden gedraaid (zoals Rage en To The Sun). Deniz Koyu heeft ook met Nicky Romero een plaat gemaakt (Nicky opende er afgelopen zaterdag mee op Jingle Balls) en kan echt wel wat. Beide DJs zijn in Nederland zelf niet bekend maar in andere landen wel.
De prijs is inderdaad aan de hoge kant maar ze halen nu wel twee buitenlandse artiesten en dat kost meer dan alleen Nederlandse artiesten. Op Jingle Ball hadden ze alleen maar Nederlandse artiesten, die zoals hierboven al wordt aangegeven, waarschijnlijk voor een lagere prijs draaiden. Misschien wel het belangrijkste is de vinger in de pap van Radio 538 die het evenement ook als een verlengstuk zag van zijn huidige commerciële activiteiten (het werd bijvoorbeeld uitgezonden op de radio, veel meer mensen die luisterden naar de radio voor gratis kaarten etc..).
Helemaal mee eens. In mijn ogen is Dirty South een grotere artiest dan een DVBBS, die gasten komen net kijken. Hij draait een andere sound, maar voor de opbouw van de avond is dat juist fijn. Anders heb je DVBBS Quintino Ummet en Garrix die allemaal de zelfde platen 5x draaien. Doe mij dan maar Dirty South met City of Dreams, prachtige plaat is dat.
Overigens raar dat iedereen hierboven om Alesso of Axwell en Ingrosso vraagt en dan niet blij zijn met Dirty South.......

Even een vraagje. Ik wil zo kaarten gaan bestellen maar wil wel veldkaarten hebben. Heb geen zin om eerste ring te gaan zitten. Weet iemand of je dat kunt kiezen of Is het al te laat voor veldkaarten?

Het is een groot open gebied, je kunt dus gewoon vanaf de tribunes naar de zaal (veld) lopen en terug. Er is geen onderscheid gemaakt in "veldkaarten" en tribunekaarten etc.

Ten eerste is Hardwell 50 euro (scheelt toch weer een tientje) en krijg je als opwarmer ook een Dannic of de iets minder bekende Kill the Buzz. En ben zelf nog nooit op DLDK geweest maar bij Hardwell krijg je er ook een dikke show bij wat ook zeker meegenomen is in de prijs.

hardwell is misschien iets goedkoper maar dat duurt ook maar tot 4 uur
