MAGDA (PL, Items & Things)

Magda is an artist who can never be pinned down, no matter the timeframe or time signature. Any one of the Detroit-raised artist's DJ sets or productions breeds a rare feel of mystique and discovery. "I'm really obsessed with finding a line between things - between sounds and between genres. My influences come from a life spent in very different environments, which plays a huge role in the way I connect with music."

These days Magda isn't home very often. In-between touring, she's fully focused on her recently resurrected label 'Items & Things.' The label's vision always pinpoints the off-kilter and the uncommon, seeking out new artists and sounds that push boundaries. "Items and things are bits and pieces of uniqueness we come across. The label is a platform to launch the music that we love. There are no rules, just sounds we like and artists we believe in."

Getting her start stateside alongside Matthew Dear, Ryan Elliott, and the Spectral Sound crew, Kate Simko has quietly, yet consistently, established herself as one of dance music’s rising stars. A diverse musician, Kate's projects range from remixing Philip Glass, to composing film scores, to rocking jackin’ DJ sets, and producing her own melodic, Chicago-flavoured take on house and techno.

This artist from Geneva evades easy categorisation however: her sets reflect an enormous wealth of ideas and creativity and lead her to perpetually redefine her style. Her musical background, eclectic tastes and enviable record collection have made miss Moonear a much sought-after DJ.

Cezar is one of the leading “new kids on the block”. His cutting edge sets are both seminal and energetic, the boundry between new and old, minimal techo or house is determined only by the vibe he finds “out there”.

DEZZ TERQUEZ (BE, Down Under)

Dezz Terquez is the brainchild of Andreas De Boever and Jelte Scheys. They made their first steps as a dj duo playing the more progressive side of house at various local clubs and parties. Both enthusiasts soon started organizing their own nights, with “Down Under” (founded together with their friends Ken & Davy) being the one that really stood out.

KEN & DAVY (BE, Down Under)

London living Belgian twins Ken & Davy are co-founders of Down Under, their successful club night which they started at Club Silo in their home country 4 years ago. Totally passionate about electronic music, the guys are bringing their driving take on deep house and techno into the London scene these days
