BEN KLOCK (DE, Ostgut Ton)
Berlin born DJ, producer and label owner Ben Klock is without a doubt one of the most significant characters in techno’s recent history. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, he has been able to leave his mark on the club’s unique sound, in turn the special space influenced Klock’s approach as a DJ and producer as well.
Playing techno sets full of hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves, releasing records on Ostgut Ton and last but not least the aesthetics of his own label Klockworks (founded in 2006), have earned him an excellent international reputation over the last few years. Supported by stringent and enthralling tracks, remixes for such diverse artists as Kerri Chandler, Martyn or Depeche Mode, the revered debut album “One” on Ostgut Ton and his Berghain mix, Ben Klock’s name is synonymous with the vitalization of an essential definition of techno.
His music is free of crippling nostalgia and rather wins you over with consistency, tension, and dynamics and time and time again with a sensibility, one would usually expect from house music. In this vein, Klock pursues an unexacting fusion of quantum jumps and tradition – including effortless melodies or hook lines. Being able to harmonize this method of industrial austerity, natural musicality and an impressive physicality is Ben Klock’s great art and skill.
And of course his monthly marathon sets at Berghain that escort all what’s being said with pure sound and consistently motivate Ben Klock to skip the trapdoor called routine.

A legendary figure in electronic music, Chez Damier has played close witness to many of the pivotal moments in the history of house and techno. Jointly responsible with partner Ron Trent for both Prescription Records - widely recognised as one of the greatest labels of all time - and The Morning Factory - one of the most ethereal jams ever to rock a room - Chez Damier carries abound the soul of house music.
KMS, The Music Institute, The Bellville three: the Chicago DJ has played pivotal roles in the development of all three hallowed pieces of musical history. However his natural artistry and constant need to out do even himself has led to him passing off such seminal tunes as Can You Feel It as just a stage in his artistic development. For as an artist Chez Damier represents a unique blend; he is as impetuous and daring as now as in 1989 and being able to qualify this with his own unique heritage makes his releases and DJ performances doubly formidable.

Classifying the unusual character of Daniel Gardner is a challenge. His school-teachers all tried and failed, finally attributing his unconventionality to a learning disability and decidedly closing the case on him completely.
He has now more than 40 releases and over a dozen 12"s to his name, Frivolous has toured the globe playing an eclectic array of venues and festivals along the way. His live shows have been hailed for their energy, originality and ingenuity as he's taken the stage next to some of the most respected names in the business. Never compromising the art of showman-ship, these spectacles feature live keyboards and vocals as well as the incorporation of his DIY aesthetic.
Integrating homemade devices such as the "Frivolous Patented Electromagnetic knife", the "Broken-Ruler Music Box" and the Double "Cable-Tub" Bass, his sets are injected with a sense of fantasy, imagination and personality scarcely found elsewhere in modern electronic dance music.

David and Johan both started playing records around 1998 and stood behind the decks at many clubs and venues in Belgium and beyond the borders. David as dj Nocif, Johan as Juannes. They first met in 2006, as Johan organised his Plus/Minus events where he invited David to play. Since then they never lost contact and shared their mutual interest, music and parties, with Brussels as a central meeting point.
Juannes became resident of the infamous P3P parties in Brussels and played as a regular guest at Fuse, Kozzmozz, Ultra in Gent and Tomorrowland. Nocif played as a resident for Bombomatic, Technoir and Artfact, while playing twice at Laundry Day and having a spot at the 10 years Kozzmozz party. Next to that he went abroad in Germany, Prague and twice in Switzerland.
Inspired by all different styles of electronic music, you can expect a musical voyage from soft house music to harder techno music, going back and then forward again.
Always keeping in mind they don't want to bring music for the masses, but cast pearls before the dancefloor swines. Their only aim is to make you smile and keep you dancing all night, or at least during their set.

Even though he’s barely in his early twenties, Issa Maïga can’t be considered a beginner in the world of electronic music. His passion for rhythm has indeed been growing since he was a young kid. From the drums he started playing when he was 8 to his sister’s electronic music that his house resounds with, rhythm literally leads his life.
He has already played with artists such as dOP, Soulphiction, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts, Mathias Kaden, Art Department, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Frivolous, Axel Boman, Maayan Nidam …
