BOEMKLATSCH [Website][myspace]

Boem, klatsch. Kick, snare. It’s as simple as that. It was just as simple in 2001 when Boemklatsch threw their first party on a boat in Utrecht. 20 euro’s, open bar, and dj’s spinning hiphop records. Nine years later the group of 7 creative friends has grown into a colourful, energetic collective who give a tear-the-roof-of guarantee to everyone who books them. The crew is known to be ahead of the pack, and they still don’t mind partying harder then their audience.

From 2005 onwards they spread out their wings and started doing shows in Amsterdam and other cities in Holland. Back then you could already tell they weren’t just hiphop purists. They incorporate the newest styles of dance music into their territory and present it in their unique style. Rugged and with a black soul.

Boemklatsch consists of three dj’s, a host and two vj’s. You can always pick out Dj/producer Mike Mago (Michiel Thomassen) by his wool beanie, even in summer. Dj/producer $jammie the Money stands out because of his colourful dress and his hard-hitting choice of tunes. Dj Illvester is the most eclectic of the three. He’ll mix in a indie record without hesitation. MC Atactic (Dharmen Nokhai) would be perfectly happy if he could shout through a megaphone all day. VJ-duo Ramkraak (Roel Oude Nijhuis & Mark Assies) fill the screens with explosive and creative visuals.

The last years have been a rollercoaster ride for these guys. They’ve started producing and putting out their own records. They started up their own label BMKLTSCH RCRDS, and signed international stars like the Mightyfools as well as upcoming talent like Baskerville, RipTidE and Dem Slackers. They put out their first album ‘Mixing in Action’ which sold out in no time. On august 21st they have released their second album “DUMDUM Genetics #1”. At the moment their working on their first full length studio album to be released April 17th 2010. They are ready to expand even further beyond Dutch border and show the world what they do best: to rock a crowd till the bitter end!

FRENCHTOAST SOUNDSYSTEM [Myspace]

Waffles And Lex Chauve bring you the Frenchtoast Soundsystem.
They started working as a DJ team in the Winter of 2010 next to their solo carriers. In the past few years they have developed their own sound through Dj gigs, and productions.

Teaming up means more creativity and a whole new sound! This year you will be hearing a lot more more of these dudes!

Apart from the Dj stuff,throwing parties and a lot of Carona's! These kids will be working on an upcoming EP Release on Touche records and they’ll be heard on a couple gig's and festivals upcoming summer. Also you might expect some remixes and mixtapes.

When you'll meet these kids your ears will be bangin with: Electro, Disco, Classic HipHop
Breaks, 80’s,Techno, New Wave, Baltimore, Baselines and a whole lot of other Toast! No boundaries!

DYRR [Myspace]

DYRR is de organisator en resident van Elektronix. Ward Mevis is de drijvende kracht achter Elektronix. Gedreven en beïnvloed door allerlei verschillende genres als rock, indie, dubstep, drum and bass, industrial en electro zorgt DYRR voor een uitgebreide mix van dansbare electro en zwaarde electro zoals Justice, Boys Noize en Les Petits Pilous . Geen consessies gewoon knallen! Maar dit wel met oog voor kwaliteit en opbouw.

Zijn voorliefde voor vinyl is aan de kant geschoven voor een Macbook met Ableton Live om op deze manier de ongekende mogelijkheden toe te passen en platen een nieuwe insteek te geven. Waar een gewone DJ vaak de bekendere platen draait laat DYRR zich ook uitgebreid inspireren door onbekende muziek die hij tovert van de talrijke blogs op internet. Dit zorgt altijd voor verassende dingen! Na het podium gedeeld te hebben met namen als Proxy, Zombie Nation, D.I.M., The Subs, Les Petits Pilous, Feadz en Toxic Avenger is het nu de tijd voor Boemklatsch!

RING RANG

RingRang is ongeveer een half jaar geleden opgericht en bestaat uit 2 leden genaamd Glenn Thompson en Bart Marchal. Beide dj's zijn echter wel al langer actief.
RingRang probeert een eigen geluid te creëren. Het eigen geluid dat momenteel een ontwikkeling doormaakt is een combi van minimal techno, techno, deep house en Progressive house.
