In 2006 two guys, Floris Regoort & Jasper Löwik, met each other in a small club in Utrecht (Netherlands). While conversating they soon realised that they shared the same passion, making music! Hereby they decided to meet in the studio for a jam-session. This jam rocked unimaginably well and they decided to go through with it and to start producing tracks together. At the end of 2006 a mutual friend invites them to come play together for the first time at his birthday bash. Crazy enough this party was at exact the same after-club where Rauwkost met each other for the first time! Could this be a sign?.... From this day on Rauwkost was an official fact! After a lot of fine-tuning and experiences now they found their own vibe and setting.
Their style is best described as minimal techno, but with a contemporary and stubborn twist. Their music varies from real minimal to heavy emotional and melodic tracks. This variation, together with the energy that is generated by Rauwkost themselves in the booth while playing, makes every crowd go ballistic. Their live-act never gets dull! With performances in the past at venues as WeekendClub (Berlin) VOLTT, Welcome to the Future festival, Mysteryland, CircoLoco Amsterdam, Awakenings and Cocoon, Rauwkost proved time after time that they can get a party-crowd go totally crazy. The energy that bursts loose is indescribable.
