Na een lange en koude winter wordt het hoog tijd dat het kwik in de thermometers gaat stijgen en kunnen de meesten niet wachten tot de lente begint. Maar voor het zover is hebben ze nog iets moois voor je in petto: het Intuition Winter Festival op zaterdag 13 maart in de WesterUnie & WesterLiefde in Amsterdam. Dus kom uit die winterslaap en zorg dat jij dit seizoen waardig afsluit met een verpletterend verjaardagsfeest ter ere van het vijfjarig bestaan van Intuition! 22

Intuition bestaat vijf jaar en dat kan natuurlijk niet onopgemerkt voorbij gaan. Daarom zal deze verjaardag groots gevierd worden met het Intuition Winter Festival op zaterdag 13 maart in de WesterUnie en WesterLiefde te Amsterdam. Wat voor heerlijks staat je deze avond te wachten? 6

5 years of Intuition is an occasion that deserves nothing short of a grand celebration. That’s why on Saturday March 13th ERS2010 the Westerunie and Westerliefde in Amsterdam will be subject to a subliminal lineup, stunning visuals and the crowd and DJs that have been rocking it for half a decade.
Egyptian Trance phenomenon Aly & Fila made an impressive debut in 2008’s DJ Mag Top 100. This year they have topped that by climbing the chart to the 22nd position. With the Future Sound of Egypt radio show, the similarly named label and slamming singles and remixes this success was inevitable and predicts much more to come.

5 years of Intuition is an occasion that deserves nothing short of a grand celebration. That’s why on Saturday March 13th ERS2010 the Westerunie and Westerliefde in Amsterdam will be subject to a subliminal lineup, stunning visuals and the crowd and DJs that have been rocking it for half a decade.
Egyptian Trance phenomenon Aly & Fila made an impressive debut in 2008’s DJ Mag Top 100. This year they have topped that by climbing the chart to the 22nd position. With the Future Sound of Egypt radio show, the similarly named label and slamming singles and remixes this success was inevitable and predicts much more to come.
Next guest of honour is ‘Swedish Beatball’ Marcus Schössöw, who is currently taking the scene by storm. His initial breakthrough may be credited to the innovative sound of ‘Mr. White’, but recently his mix of futuristic Techno, banging House and smooth Trance have been strongly represented by his Tone Diary imprint and first album release ‘Outside The Box’. Fellow Swede Airbase is the alias for Trance.nu co-founder and legendary DJ-producer Jezper Söderlund. Signing off on the second ever Intuition release ‘Escape / For The Fallen’ means he can not be missed at this event. This classic release was followed by many more succesful singles and with an album in the making it looks like there are many more to come. Belgian wonderboy Jonas Steur is a man whose sound has recently evolved to new levels of finesse and maturity. Some of his releases such as ‘Castamara’ and ‘Above’ have made the sound of Intuition what it is today. Especially for this occasion Jonas will be bringing together the old and the new to rock the house once more.
Finishing touch in the ‘5 Years Intuition’ arena is the Intuition head honcho himself.
Menno de Jong: “It’s incredible how many beautiful moments we have had the pleasure of experiencing during 5 years of Intuition. We’ve got a dedicated and lovely audience, artists that always deliver their best and graced legendary venues such as the Melkweg, Panama, Escape, The Sand, Bloomingdale and Asta. Reason enough for a massive, massive birthday festival!”
But that’s not all; as part of the birthday neighbouring venue ‘Westerliefde’ will be hosting the Anjunadeep Vol. 2 World Tour. Dutch Prog masters 16 Bit Lolitas will be joining the Australian Jaytech to deliver an excellent mix of deep sounds. The warmup is courtesy of the incredibly talented Fine Taste, who will be showcasing a brand new selection of their latest productions.
