Aeroplane the Belgium-based project of Stephen Fasano and Vito De Luca.Think psyché guitars, pop keys, melancholic waves and catchy bass lines meets disco beats. They released their 1st 12" in 2007 "Caramellas/Aeroplane" on the Eskimo label and they gained critical acclaim from some of the biggest worldwide DJ's and producers such as Laurent Garnier, Mylo, Optimo, Danny Howells, Joakim, Mike Simonetti and last but not least Lindstrom & Prins Thomas. The second 12" was released a few months after and due to the success of the 12"s, they were asked to do a number of remixes for artists such as Cobra Dukes, Das Pop, Low Motion Disco and Coyote. Their third 12" "Whispers" will be released in April which is a collaboration with London Singer Kathy Diamond In the next few months they are a number of remixes coming for Lindström (Feedelity), Cut Copy (Modular) and Allez Allez (Eskimo), but also their debut album is in the pipeline for Eskimo which is planned for release at the end of 2008.As DJ's they are residents @ the well-known Make Up Club in Gent, where they play a mix of old and nu disco, psyche pop, classic house & Balearic.
Sinds zo'n anderhalf jaar geleden de Last Night On Earth crew besloot de Amsterdamse uitgaansscene een flinke klap op z'n smoel te geven is er veel veranderd. Hippe feestjes schieten als paddo's uit de grond en baile funk, metal, electro en andere vuige geluiden hebben inmiddels de voorheen gezapige clubsound gekneveld en de achterdeur uitgeschopt. Dat weerhoudt de Last Night On Earth gang er echter niet van iedere twee maanden Studio 80 om te toveren in een gezellige pre-Apocalyptische bende. Met gasten als Busy P 🇫🇷, Punks Jump Up (gb), Jonasty 🇧🇪, Pink Skull 🇺🇸 en Headman 🇩🇪 weet Last Night On Earth iedere keer weer te verrassen.
