·FONIK was founded in Antwerp (Belgium) during the summer of the year 2012. It's been set up by 3 guys who know each other by heart and who share the same passion for music and events.
FONIK is derived from the word 'Phonic". 'Phonic" is a musical term that is related to sound. If you go further in the research of its meaning you'll find these meanings:
- a method of teaching people to read by training them to associate letters with their phonetic values
- the science of sound, or of spoken sounds
Our message is that we would like to give you people a great time at our parties and events by sharing some language in a musical way. As we stand for only the best in electronic music, we would like to reach our people by only giving them quality music in a great atmosphere. Our goal is reached when our audience can associate language with their love for music at any party or event organized by us.
FONIK is focused on the house and techno scene, as we find it's growing day by day. This scene is so wide and endless. That is the reason why we think it's a special scene with great opportunities. It's definitely a scene we want to make part of and we want to create our thing in it.
FONIK organized their first event at a beach-bar named Beachtown situated in Boechout (Antwerp). Exceeding our expectations, at least 500 party-people showed up. The atmosphere was just great. It was never seen before to have such an amount of people at this beach-bar, however this beach-bar exists for several years. FONIK's first success took place…
So dear dancers, techno faces, ravers, chillers, party crashers, house gangsters, underground lovers, you name it… we hope to welcome you (again) very soon at one of our parties or events. Keep on checking our facebook-page for updates.
