·Laptops, midicontrollers and the internet are gaining ground over traditional production tools and ways of performing, and the distance between a production studio and the dance floor is getting smaller by the minute. Experimenting on the fly and direct interaction with the audience turns the dance floor into an ultimate platform for imaginative minds.
Redevice is setting itself up as a point of assembly for likeminded individuals, whose styles vary from avant-garde electronics to techno and funk, always keeping emphasis on the keywords: sexy, psychedelic, universal and subtle. Twee Amsterdamse platenlabels ontmoeten elkaar op vrijdag 17 mei in de Melkweg. Het bekende undergroundcollectief en online label Redevice nodigt Amsterdams meest gerenommeerde platenlabel Rush Hour uit voor een nacht die vooral in het teken staat van de roots van de Chicago house.

Ondanks de brede muzikale oriëntatie van het label weten de zeer getalenteerde individuen van Ostgut Ton stuk voor stuk die zo typische sfeer te vertalen in een nu al legendarische sound. Een sound die, waar je hem ook hoort, je even het gevoel geeft dat je weer in de Berghain staat. Reden genoeg voor 'Redevice Invites.' om die sound naar Amsterdam te halen. 3
