·SPUTNIK TECHNO is a techno collective built on connection, consistency and underground values. The sound moves between techno and hardgroove, usually in the range of 140 to 146 BPM, with a strong focus on groove and dancefloor energy.
SPUTNIK TECHNO is driven by Rick QPRS, Wietze Young and Mick Bouma. Together, they shape the sound, atmosphere and direction of the collective, while giving space to local talent and new artists from the region.
The collective hosts regular club editions at Neushoorn in Leeuwarden, creating a stable home base for the community. Alongside these nights, SPUTNIK TECHNO is also known for organizing underground and illegal raves at unique, secret locations, where raw sound and atmosphere come first.
A key part of SPUTNIK TECHNO is bringing different generations together on one dancefloor. Old-school ravers and a new wave of clubbers meet through a shared love for techno — no barriers, no trends, just music and movement.
