Love Is Just An Energy
After 10 years talking about it, Ian and Mallorca finally arranged studio time for their first collaboration - TAKE ME AWAY sounded like it could have been made in the 90's but even more dynamic and brand new at the same time - an instant anthem!

It was included on Dream Frequency's "30" album and successfully released worldwide on CD & Vinyl via Kickstarter. "Our intentions were to make a track that sounded exactly like Dream Frequency & Ultra-Sonic would in your head. We had so much fun working in the studio together and loved using recording techniques from back in the day to get the best out our old synths, drum machines and samples. Straight after we wanted to write even more tracks, but we were just too busy touring."


Inspiration
Suddenly the world changed, lockdown happened and we both tried our hardest to stay focused in the studio when touring ended over night! We both released hugley successful albums on Kickstarter that (with our backers amazing support) completely smashed their targets and kept our minds on music. Trying to stay positive, we now had time to collaborate on more music together so we set up our synthesisers and drum machines from back in the day and called the project Ultra-Frequency. We learned so much from our last Kickstarter and know how to make this one even better.

We understand every project has its own risks and challenges. In many ways, if it wasn't for the lock down, we would never have found the time to work on this album together.
