UK happy & freeform

Het is een freeform mix. Dat is een stijl in Engeland die behoorlijk stevig is. BPM gaan soms wel richting de 200.

Mix begint best wel trancy maar wordt later harder en harder. Veel early rave invloeden. De mix eindigt twee nummers die er een beetje buiten vallen, maar wel erg lekker zijn. Ik denk dat Freeform best wel succesvol in Nederland zou kunnen zijn.

ja, Darren Styles doet het zeer goed. Vind het soms te cheesy klinken, maar wie ben ik?
Vond hem in 2014 qua sound veel beter klinken

Neem alleen al Gammer en Darren Styles. Je hoort meteen van wie een track afkomstig is.

klopt. Alleen vind ik ze veel gefocussed op EDM. Ik vind bij voorbeeld Ganar een goede producer, veel invloeden vanuit andere genres, maar toch hoor je UK Hardcore overduidelijk als hoofdgenre gedurende zijn platen.

Het is afwisseling van jump, early, hardstyle, hardcore maar het is idd. nog steeds aan de beperkte kant. Nergens word je echt verrast. Het anything goes concept staat als een huis, maar de djs durven het blijkbaar nog steeds niet.

Dat was het concept ja, en inderdaad dat staat als een huis.
Maar aan de andere kant, met die 45/60 minuten die je als DJ krijgt voor je setje kan je natuurlijk ook geen kant op met een "anything goes" setje.

Had ik ook toen ik gevraagd werd voor wekelijks mixxie bij een internet radiostation, heb ik geweigerd om dat ik in een uurtje me ding niet kan doen.

Voordat ik van 120 BPM op 160/180 BPM arriveer ,ben ik toch tussen de 4/5 uur bezig.
Dus het probleem is de waslijsten aan DJ`s, we moeten gewoon naar 2 Dj`s per feest. lmao

daar werd aangegeven door wel bekende DJs dat hoe groter het wordt, het minder interessant wordt.
EDM is te groot. meeste DJs willen terug naar een kleinere scene, meer underground.
misschien is dat wel de reden waarom Freeform niet aanslaat, en misschien ook beter?

UK Hardcore verliest steeds meer mijn interesse, omdat het allemaal hetzelfde klinkt (lees: saai).
Er zijn weinig UK Hardcore mixes en platen die ik nu interessant vindt.
En daarintegen is de scene redelijk snotrot. Nu is er een online 'gevecht' tussen Ganar en Hixxy.
Nee, deze twee stylen moeten niet groter worden, laat ze maar zoals ze zijn haha
