Harddance

Hardhouse, hardtrance en een beetje techno en een héél klein beetje hardstyle (althans zo draai ik het).
Op de één of andere manier komt deze muziekstroming niet helemaal door.
Ben wel benieuwd naar de meningen over hoe dat komt.
Te hard voor de Tiesto/cor fijneman enz. liefhebbers, te soft voor de hardstylers/hardcoreliefhebbers enz.

Mijn mening is dat harddance van alles in zich heeft om verrassende uptempo (gb) en/of beukende duitse/hollandse platen te mixen. Tóch muzikaal én stevig.

P.S How was Dance Valley all? Hope you had a rocker!

Although this is an older track from 4,5 years ago it's still doing his thing. But I'm more into the harder stuff now so there will be more harder darker stuff out soon

Following on from last year's set, Tunnel decided to book Jake Nicholls and placed us both back to back on the day, which was awesome as we had been talking about playing b2b for ages, and just like last year we recorded it, so here is our set from the Tunnel Bunker on Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning (4 AM) after Slideout and before Sven-E. A string of wicked hard trance tracks including a world exclusive of the new Nomad + Wragg production!

I heard so many awesome tracks this weekend that I wanted to do a mix of some of my favourite vinyls (apologies for some of the quality of them as had to record them to MP3 to play). original intro

Nice speed, cranked up de bpm, didn't know Utopia was released at Impressive Records. On that label (sublabel of Duplate, Broker Entertainment) I had my first EP release 'The Force' in 2006

Grooveline strong track, nice percussion toms and drive.

Outbound cool vibe, beautiful break

Never Told I heard earlier in Husband guest mix from High Fish Radio show last month, very awesome piece of work. I like the lead and aciidd + awesome break/climax buildup!

Nice transition to Voyager, still one of my favorites!

Very strong intro from the remix of my track In The Sky by our friends Dave and Richard.
And then fucking awesome to hear my own melody getting played! Although it's not my own track still I'm so excited finally something is played at a biggg party
I wish I was there to feel those goosebumps..

Husband is doing it again, solid release Rapid Ascent at Zone Traxx. Digging this sound, bassline and filtered acid!!
Nice mainlead, don't know what it is but all tracks are sounding better in faster speed/bpm

How does this work with remixes and license stuff or approvement from original label/artist?
Very strong Compulzion release, nice acid-filtering, violins and breakdown gives it a classic feel
Cool buildup and climax

Tectik, Josh Lang style with those fcking energetic basses, yeah nice!
Cool leadsound, which gives it a great atmosphere. Strong kick/bass combi!

Soul Train, heard it before in this topic. Also a favorite, just like Andrea Montorsi and old Scot Project feeling Still his own style is hearable, lots of energy!
Good choice for ending this wicked Hard Trance set!

It's an average of 152 bpm I checked when used to this, 140 /145 is very slow to me haha. But I agree, I also grew up with faster (Hard) Trance like the happy Hard Trance (first gary-d albums and eurodance, technorave. After that it was all Hardcore for me

Melodie maakt dat nummer nou juist zo sterk vind ik, heel energiek en vrolijk

Tja, ik vind dat juist weer zo'n typische hardstyle melodie waarmee 'we' worden doodgegooid. Wat mij betreft juist weinig energiek. De viool daarin vind ik wel origineel gevonden.
Als je dat nou vergelijkt met dit



Je hoort toch zelf ook het kwaliteitsverschil? De afwisseling in geluiden, dat het subtiel is, zonder schelle geluiden, zonder overdreven harde kicks, dat er een drive in zit, in zekere zin vernieuwend, met retro samples die niet massaal gebruikt zijn, dat je tientallen keren naar kan luisteren zonder dat het gaat vervelen?!

Aangezien Frontliner niet echt de vrijheid heeft te maken wat ie wil.

De lat ligt hoog. Zie dat maar het zelfde als een wijnliefhebber/kenner. Die neemt ook geen genoegen met een massaproduct (lees hardstyle).
Ik luister naar het eindproduct, of dat nu van Pietje, Jantje of wie dan ook is. Of een producer niet de vrijheid heeft is zijn/ haar probleem

Wat je vaak ziet (helaas). Pietje draait track van Henkie en daarom draait Henkie track van Pietje. Soort van netwerk van djs die elkaar steunen. Als muziekliefhebber zit je daar niet op te wachten, immers je wilt de beste tracks horen en niet om dat Pietje Henk kent.

Gave lijst onderkoffer, vooral bij de 1e helft zitten heel veel vette platen!

Edwin, ik denk dat je veel van de 2e helft niet kent?
Wat me vooral aan die tracklist opvalt is: 1) grote variatie 2) soepele overgangen 3) mooi lopend verhaal 4) aantoont dat er genoeg hardere dance is zonder dat het hardstyle/core is
