Harddance

Hardhouse, hardtrance en een beetje techno en een héél klein beetje hardstyle (althans zo draai ik het).
Op de één of andere manier komt deze muziekstroming niet helemaal door.
Ben wel benieuwd naar de meningen over hoe dat komt.
Te hard voor de Tiesto/cor fijneman enz. liefhebbers, te soft voor de hardstylers/hardcoreliefhebbers enz.

Mijn mening is dat harddance van alles in zich heeft om verrassende uptempo (gb) en/of beukende duitse/hollandse platen te mixen. Tóch muzikaal én stevig.

Het is toch standaard voor Onderkoffer dat hij setjes maakt van 3,5 uur, of word ik nou gek?

6 hours, wow! which djs are you talking about? Are there sets online? I really like long sets full of diversity. And onderkoffer is in my opinion a true 'master of the story'

Trouwens DV nu voor de helft van de prijs (1 ticket, 2 mensen naar binnen), schijnen maar paar duizend kaarten te zijn verkocht, ongelofelijk hoe hard het is afgegleden
(paar jaar geleden steevast meer dan 40.000 bezoekers!)

Qua HQ is al jaren duidelijk; geen goede visie, te gefragmenteerd, geen duidelijke koers.

Foei Phil York, wat een kut tracks, dus wat een slechte keuze, hardleers. Al vaker gezegd, klopt gewoon niet met de rest. Zo'n andere type tracks qua sfeer, kicks e.d.

Rest vd mix moet ik nog checken, ik zie veel platen van IHSS, dat is wel jammer, ik hoor liever sets waarin een dj draait wat hij echt goed vindt ipv wat hij dient te draaien om z'n tracks te promoten. Geldt ook voor monothematische/producer sets.

grapjas als een groot deel van de harddance scene dit soort hardstyle uitkotst, en je doet daar niks mee, dan is 'hardleers' nog zacht uitgedrukt

zeg ik volgens mij nergens, bij die set van phil york is het gewoon duidelijk dat er op het einde nog even wast cheesy hs bij moet(zoals ik het zie iig). Het is gewoon iets van de laatste tijd, net of dat publiek daar om vraagt. Als die dit soort muziek willen gaan ze wel naar de tig andere areas op een feest waar de nummers vaak al tig keer ook voorbij komen.

Begrijp me niet verkeerd in een harddance set kan vanalles zitten, ook nieuwe hs, maar deze nieuwe gare shit past er niet bij, Het klinkt waardeloos en de set eindigt zo erg slecht.

is geen gezeik, is gewoon een mening. niemand weet wat Phil vet vindt, maar een beetje gezond verstand zegt dat er ook een verkoop oftewel commercieel belang aan zit.
ik zou iig mijn set nooit met deze tracks afsluiten omdat ik het totaal niet vind passen in het totale plaatje van de set. Als ik vind dat het echt baggerplaten zijn en de compilatie waardeloos vind, dan is daar toch niets mis mee?
