July 5th, the day that looked to be a day to remember. The lineup looked very promising, weather forecast okay, Beachclub Riche here we come!
First again a meetup in Leiden with Daantje & Sonja, together we went to Zandvoort. Arriving in Zandvoort we couldn't find the club first, the address (number) wasn't in the navigation so we seemed to have parked the car a little too much to Zandvoort as the club as pretty close to Bloemendaal Aan Zee. Riche had 2 area’s, Area 1 was a bigger one located closer to the entrance and a 2nd smaller area, located more on the back. I think it was nice to have multiple styles in both areas, so not the biggest style only has got the biggest room. (and they lied, they don't have 6 flags but 2 next to the road!)
The lineup was certainly great, I can hardly make a good review, it was just so great! Finally experienced a set by
Daniel Kandi! 
He also signed mr CHOON, who’s going to be pretty popular I think :rolleyes: A really great set by him, but he couldn't play Miracle anymore because
Leon Bolier chose to play it already, right before his set!
Misja Helsoot was also great, nice tunes (also went crazy with mr CHOON and what a hero! He had planned to end with the Onova remix of Nyctalopia, but during the end of that tune, Shah told him he wasn’t ready yet with installing his equipment so in the last minute Misja went to super duper high speed omfg wtf mode grabbing big sky and really in the last kicks, when Nyctalopia ended the transtition to Big Sky was done
Another great set, maybe also the greatest, was by
Manuel le Saux, knewing he had put down the greatest set at the ‘Before the Energy’ party before Trance Energy, his set would be great, well believe me, it was more than that. AWESOME! One bomb after another, getting the
face over and over again, WOW! Forgive me for not really using chronologic order, I’m still in trance I guess
Sebastian Brandt had also put down a great set, I had requested "Sunny Lax - Blue Bird (Daniel Kandi Remix)" to the one and only mr Daniel Kandi, but he hadn't got any time left in his set, so we tried to get Sebastian to play, it, but he didn't feel like playing it I guess. Nonetheless a nice trance set! Strangely, I didn't really get into
DJ Shah's set... His new tunes from Songbook don't really get my like some tunes from his Sunlounger do. But it was great he got the equipment installed to paly live for us! During his set Flenk, Sonny and I went to go to the terrace and chill a bit. Oh and Daniel Kandi did some MC stuff, as a DJ with an own radioshow he knew when to say something (like 2 times in a set a short line), best MC out there!

Let's see, who else can I write something about... in the beginning it was a bit walking around, looking at both areas, but those written above. Let's see who I met, this time I noted it when I met someone!

Daniel Kandi, ofcourse you're da man!!!
DJ Shah, great shirt!
It was really great to have so much trance on a party, really my thing!
And another great thing to tell: the sets were broadcasted/recorded and are downloadable! The sets from Area 1 anyone so far, those of the 2nd might come too! So great to hear also great trance tunes of the past couple of years. so for me it was the best trance party of the year having also a very energetic crowd!
