well there is more polish people outside there own country than in it i think hahahha .. nice woman daft in a good way .. but generally should be more intergrating with other nations

I've never been there. But I get mistaken for being polish or half-polish A LOT. Like a few times week, people just come up to me and ask if I'm polish (or russian, or even yugoslavic :lol.

Anyway, my idea about Poland is pretty boring... grey city's, unemployement, poor people.. etc.

You are not looking like Polish for sure (I think not a lot of people from Poland would do this mistake), but like girl from East/South Europe - Btw very pretty girl

Few years ago- yes. Now its going better and better. Grey cities? Only on Silesia, the region I live. Typical industrial area. But normaly our cities are really beautiful, with old squares etc

and btw. Dutch people are proud of speaking english the best (even better than native!) so where is the problem for you when somebody is using english instead of dutch..

After reading what you all are saying i must ask you first how many polish people you know?
i guess that most of your "knowledge" is from somebody else and this person knows "that" from others.. circle..
most of that is one big bullshit! everything changed in my country.. and it's totally different than it was before and most probably than that what your parents know about it.. and i think this is the point..
it's not far away you can always come here and see how nice people are here.. the nearest place for you is Szczecin.. you will have a lot of fun!

and your idea is wrong.. im travelling a lot and belive me or not but my city and cities around are more colourful than other places in spain, greece.. even holland only tulips are making your cauntry so beautiful im always looking forward to coming back home (especially i was after one year in Greece - school)

unemployment- honestly im very happy that so many people went abroad cause finally you can make a choice of the job you want and you are not taking this what "left", now here are many technological parks with a lot of companies and you can really get what you want.. poor people - hehe maybe we are not very reach but poor as well, if you see somebody begging on the street it's person outside poland especially Gipsy;
most of people in poland are behaved not to spend money on some shitty things which are useless.. and we prefer to collect money and buy something what is really good..

yeah people have this kind of opinion about us, but year after year there are less people drinking.. and btw. when we are going abroad (especially) and we want to get to know new people we are going on parties - and what are you doing there -> drinking

everybody is connecting us with alcohol and it's something what is making us known but not really proud

i.e. im not drinking any alcohol cause i dont feel like it and generally earlier it was too much of it on the parties.. so now everybody is asking me if i am really polish

well, i work in construction... and good workers? 80% dont have a clue wtf their doing, and they take WAY longer then the dutch workers, but they come real in handy when lifting heavy shit

language barrier.. it's obvious that almost nobody knows dutch, it's not easy and you know about that.. and what's more important almost nowhere you can learn it cause it's not popular.. what's about english.. i will tell from my said that most of construction workers dont know polish good so dont expect that they will know english (especielly technical one) fluent to work on construction you dont have to be very inteligent

thats true, because its a fact you cant have a family in holland for 5-7 euro's, if you are a singel mom/dad, you can barly survive when you work with the 2 of you... for that money

i'm 18 i get 7 euro's an hour thats a little more then 1000 euro's a month, so if adult people come to holland to work here... and spend the money in poland, that will bad for the dutch economy, + you will have the effect that the dutch employers, want those polish people cause they work for next to nothing, so they will pay US less, because YOU, are here

but lucaly they dont do a very good job, so wheir safe... for now
