Nummers gebaseerd op de actualiteit

 
Aangezien ik een opleiding journalistiek doe, en een muziekfreak ben, zat ik laatst eens met een paar klasgenoten na te denken over nummers waarvan de tekst is gebaseerd op de actualiteit.

Even een paar voorbeelden:

Live - Overcome (na aanleiding van 9/11)
Lange Frans en Baas B. - Zinloos (n.a.v. moord op Theo van Gogh)
Gerard Joling - At your service (n.a.v. moord op Pim Fortuyn)
U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday ( strijd tussen Katholiek en Protestants in Noord-Ierland)
Doe maar - de bom (geen idee meer waar dat over ging)
DHT - Listen to your heart (orkaan Kathrina)

En zo hadden we nog een hele lijst. Wie weet er nog meer?
Holland & Holland - Bolletjes in mijn hol (Y)
 
Opposites - Domp, Lomp & Famous

Gebaseerd op al die leipe tjikkies in de :straat:

Het lied gaat over de oorlog in Vietnam, en over de onmenselijkheid van de Amerikaanse president Lyndon B. Johnson.

is trouwens nie nav dood van diana. Dat nummer bestond al eerder:

"Candle in the Wind" is a song with music by Elton John and lyrics by Bernie Taupin. It was originally written and released in 1973, written in honour of Marilyn Monroe.
