Order and Chaos - two universal forces from before the beginning of time. Each force exerts itself in our lives, sometimes for the positive, sometimes for the negative. We don’t have the luxury of deciding when and how each is going to manifest in our lives, no matter how much we try to fight and/or control either. Nobody is exempt, case in point – the Interstellar Fugitives. Internal and external forces caused a breakdown of that band by key members, causing not only pain and chaos in the lives of the individuals who make up the Fugitives, but for the promoters, fans, and others, who were looking forward to our live show at MUTEK. But here’s the thing…
…this is life. As much as we want to control how things turn out, as much as we want to “make things right”, we also have to sometimes accept that personal demons are no joke, fights break out, things get said, or circumstances arise and you have no say in the matter. All you can do is pick yourself off the ground and continue walking. You may say to yourself, “This will NEVER happen again!” but the reality is, you can never say that for certain. The universe doesn’t bow down to your will, but that also doesn't mean you give up entirely. So all of us, current and former bandmates and others, will continue moving forward, working to pick up the pieces and create new bands and shows, and providing you with the best we have to give. This is not the end, but the beginning.
