Ik vind Trance nog steeds de beste dance muziek

Zoiets als Matti Laamanen - Flakes wil ik in de top 40 zien.... Signum, DJ Precision, Push etc... maar ja, die komen meestal niet eens op cdmaxi uit, laat staan dat ze dan kans maken om in de top 40 terecht te komen....

jupz weer moet ik gelijk geven
is toch ook duidelijk dat dat club is
maar toch wel weer de commerciele club want echte groovy club is het ook niet wat zo op de vroegere IT cd's stond

Zij hadden vandaag ook weer een lekker programma... beetje commercieel, beetje onbekender, een perfecte mix!....

Ik heb niet echt een favo, want ik vind dat de meeste erg veel op elkaar lijken, maar mijn stem ging naar Tiesto. Dat komt omdat Tiesto In concert helemaal top was, Bijna al zijn producties en remixen vond ik ook goed het afgelopen jaar en daarnaast doet ie nog wat dingen naast het draaien wat ik ook kan waarderen

Hoi beste trance liefhebbers, ik volg dit topic al een tijdje en vind het reuze boeiend allemaal!
Ik ben nog steeds niet echt een trance liefhebber maar kom zo nu en dan welles een nummer tegen waarvan ik denk WAUWWIEE!
Tussen alle dj en producer namen die ik hier lees kom ik nergens de naam YAHEL tegen, ik vraag me af ofdat jullie" trance kenners" dit te psychedelic-achtig vinden om trance genoemd te mogen worden?

nee hoor Yahel - Voyage pure trance

Ik heb wel een paar platen van yahel, ik vind hem ook best goed, maar de laatste tijd hoor ik ook niet meer zoveel van hem

Ik heb ook een paar platen van hem en op http://mp3.com/yahel kun je er zelfs legaal downloaden!... Voyage, Devotion, Going Up, Open Your Mind... allemaal toppertjes...

En ja hoor wil de man achter Goldenscan met je praten.....is zijn MSN lijst vol

Waarom is Yahel dan nooit eens te horen op een Nederlands feest want kvind echt ieder nummer van hem waanzinnig goed?
Relaxte link trouwens, zo kom ik eindelijk eens wat meer te weten over Yahel!
Die muziek van mp3.com kun je zeker niet op je eigen computer opslaan.........?

Ligt aan de artiest op mp3.com, als ie een download link aangeeft kun je die gewoon downloaden (moet je wel even je (fake) email adres achterlaten op mp3.com)...

Yahel - Waves Of Sound was released in the year 2000 but it is still worth a review because more people has to discover this album. Before I listened to this album for the first time, I had only heard Voyage, Mr Club Trance and Reality which I think all are amazingly good song. One thing keeps my mind busy though, I cant place Yahel in any specific genre. He makes music that fits in to most trance-genres. Its a collection of Clubtrance, Goatrance, Hardtrance and Acidtrance. All mixed together in every single song. The album starts out with a quite discrete song called Going Up [Trance Remix]. Even if it is descrete, it is a very good song, but not really anything that will hold for years. Better is to come when it goes over to the track Waves Of Sound, which is a club-inspired goa-track. Very nice sequences with freaked filter-frenzy sounds. And here is the first time you hear why I would call Yahel genious. Yahel does know how to make great hooklines.

All hooklines on this album are worth to be remembered, and you dont have to think hard, because you will go around and hum on them for quite some time. The next track is The Only Way, in which we can recognize the bassdrum from Voyage, its the same. Those reversed grooves fits in so well! That snappy bassline gives the track lots of energy. And once again Yahel just throws in a massive arpeggio-sequence which is fabulous, and at six minutes sharp, we hear the same sound that we hear in the sequence of Yahel - Reality, but it doesnt bother you that its the same sound and the same note-follow. I can go on about every track on this album, about the amazing leads, but I will cut down a few now. Next track is Sun Screen, one of the best track on the album, amazing leads, gouryella-bassline, but still goa. I wonder what synths Yahel uses to make this clean metallic sounds. Next track, Deep Feelings, is one of those descrete tracks again. Its kind of easy listening, but still great. From there we go to the track D.N.A. I have never heard a track with this lame bassdrum, but it fits in so good. Very ambient and multiple sequences running together. This is the first track that I notice any transponents in.

Next up is Strange Emotion, that begins with some weird sounds that are soon to give you a hookline worth to save in a locker. Last man in the universe, the next track, begins with some choir-synths and those goa-effects that are typical for goa. It rolls on pretty easy and gets you to the track Intelligent Life, the track that reminds a little of Voyage, but still not. There is another track that reminds more about Voyage, and that is the last track, For The People (Radio Edit). This track is the best on the album by my opinion. The leadsound is the same as the one in Voyage but its so great used in this track. SO what is my conclution of this album then? Well, its a fabulous album that is goa but will, for sure, attract standard clubtrance-fans. I would suggest you to buy this track. Its available in every big CD-store for sure, otherwise try CDon.

heel hip en vooral erg belangrijk dat je naar die feestjes gaat!

Iedereen mag zijn eigen mening hebben... ik b.v. vind dat alle R'n'B sucks.... Maar van trance zal ik nooit genoeg krijgen....

Wacht maar eens af: dit jaar zal de top 3 van Dj Mag Top 100 uit TRANCE DJs bestaan:

3. Paul van Dyk

Kan geen toeval zijn toch?.... Trance IS gewoon nog altijd de meest populaire stroming in Europa....

wat is hardstyle toch best wel slecht, kom net terug van een feest, nou echt 2 uur zittenv ervelene, dus ging ik maar luisteren hoe die nummers in elkaar zitten, zo erg simpel, zonder pakkende melodie en ze klinken nooit af, niet stabiel.

Ik ga van trance toch het meeste in de muziek op, lekker zweven op de melodieen en kippenvel van de mooie strings. Ben gisteren naar M.I.K.E./Push geweest, wat kan die gast trance draaien zeg! Hardstyle is op zijn tijd ook wel lekker, maar dan heb ik het na 2 uurtjes meestal wel gehad, net ff te simpel.

Wat draaide ie zoal?... Is ergens een agenda van hem online waar ik kan zien waar ie binnenkort nog meer draait?... Hem wil ik ook nog wel een keertje zien...

Juist! Dit had ik ook kunnen schrijven

Maar goed, al die zogenaamde "trance haters"... weten niet eens wat de echte trance is en hebben misschien een keer een hitje gezien op TMF of de box... En alles wat soft is dan trance, wat hard is hardstyle en wat nog harder is hardcore! En soft is niet cool dat weet je natuurlijk ook...

Maar goed.. nu verder met de echte trance natuurlijk! Het beste nieuwe nummer wat ik de laatste tijd gehoord heb is Unknown Artist - Killimanjaaro (check ASOT114). Klinkt verdacht veel als een samenwerking tussen Lange en Pulser.. tune!

Dat is die ID-tune uit de Pulserset van een paar weken geleden... zeker een gave plaat!

Ja als je wilt weten wat trance is, dan is dat de plaat om te horen.

M.I.K.E. – Turn Out The Lights (Armind 1002/1003)
Two separate vinyls from the new M.I.K.E. (aka Push) on the Armind label. 1002 contains Mike's original mix and a breathtaking chill mix, which is also done by Mike himself.
The other vinyl contains a Transa and Hiver & Hammer



Transa remix Benieuwd of het in de stijl is als zijn producties/remixes uit 1999/2000, die waren echt

De Transa remix is okay, maar niet super... Transa heeft niet zoveel verbouwd aan het nummer, het origineel blijft er nog vet doorheen schemeren... Transa heeft het niveau van 1999/2000 nooit meer gehaald helaas....

De Hiver & Hammer remix is ook niet echt schokkend, maar toch wel aardig om aan te horen...

Het origineel is heerlijk, beetje griezelig geluid zelfs.... en de chill out versie is niet zo mijn ding....

Als je het album hebt kun je deze nog (legaal) downloaden tot 1 oktober op de pagina van Armin... best wel lekker mixje!...
