Wednesday February 6th, Armin van Buuren will be the first deejay ever to perform in a virtual environment. The number 1 DJ of the world will perform in the Habbo Hotel, one the world’s largest and fastest growing virtual worlds and social networking services for teenagers. The event is produced and recorded by Dancefoundation.
Localized Habbo communities all around the world are visited by millions of teenagers every week. Armin is invited to come to the Dutch Habbo Hotel by sponsor Postbank, to celebrate the success of their Postbank Bizznizz Lounge in Habbo Hotel. This lounge has been visited by more than 1 million visitors in the past months. The news has been buzzing around in Habbo and Armin is really looking forward as well. “I played at several unique locations worldwide, at parties for thousands of dance-lovers. But this special performance is unique in it’s own way!”, Armin says.
Before he starts deejaying, Armin will chat for one hour in the Postbank Bizznizz Lounge. Being a successful businessman himself, he will answer questions about setting up your own Bizznizz. The complete virtual visit -chat and dj-set- can be viewed by anyone interested, no Habbo account is needed. Dancefoundation will produce the whole event and provides the video streaming. Of course, Armin will be interviewed and Dancefoundation will record a Videoreport as well. The performance will be available for online listening two weeks afterwards.
