Pim Kong

Pim Kong discovered the wheels of steel in the winter of 2007. Not knowing what to buy from his money savings he had to choose between a big screen television and two CDJ800's… eventually he chose for the CDJ800's, a choice he and his fans wouldn't regret.

After two months he already got his first gig at Nintechno. After this first gig it went quite fast and he played at a lot of parties in the first year of his dj career
(TechNORm XL, Castle of Love Outdoor Deluxe, miniMahlzeit, Nintechno).

We think he owes part of his success from his energetic character… being a serious medical student during the week, he explodes at Friday and Saturday night as he turns into his alter ego Pim Kong. When you see or hear somebody who can't stop talking, laughing, acting crazy or making new friends at the dressing room, 99,9chance it's Pim Kong…

His character is something you can recognize when you not only hear but also see him performing…..Hands in the air, interacting with the crowd, dancing laughing and in the meantime trying to blend his music to a nice smoothie of minimal, techhouse and a fine pinch of techno. His style can be described as beginning with dark, sub woofer testing ritmic sounds and most of the time ending with chaotic energetic up tempo music with lots of bleeps and clicks.

What also should be mentioned is the back2back set together with his brother dj Skip… The two totally different characters combined are like a perfect mix of the two opposites…they say that it is not good to drink an upper like coffee and downer like alcohol at the same time… This duo proves you were wrong all this time…
