·Comprising producer/DJs Chris Lorenzo and Kane, Cause & Affect are widely know for pioneering the Jack House / Bass hybrid scene, furthered by Lorenzo's award-nominated productions with Hannah Wants, Cause & Affect's weekly show on Rinse FM, killer remixes for Stanton Warriors, legendary US house label Strictly Rhythm and Brodinski's Bromance label, a cut on Dirtybird's recent BBQ comp and accolades from the likes of Annie Mac, Eats Everything, Monki, Skream, B Traits, Target and EZ.
Melting tech house with garage, bassline business with plenty of swing, their inventive sounds have taken them all across Europe and the UK, as well as earning them continued support of radio stations like Kiss and Radio 1. Most notably though, Rinse.Fm were so impressed by their singular sound they offered them a weekly Wednesday show that has gone from strength to strength.
2014 has seen the duo drop the 'Operation60' EP on Marco Del Horno's London based Bullet Train imprint which saw online support from Annie Mac with her Free Music Monday, Mixmag, Ear Milk and Thump. Their 'Memories ep' is set to drop via Rinse at the end of August 2014
Half of this duo, Chris Lorenzo, is also known for pioneering the jack house/bass scene sounds that have grown exponentially in recent years. Now this duo are continuing in that good form; continuing to confound expectation and mix together exciting elements from a range of musical movements: where there is Cause, there is always Affect.
