Biografie
Steve Whiskey is a DJ/MC Based in Perth, Western Australia. Originally from Manly in NSW, He is the owner and operator of "Fundamental Hardcore", a record label that's main objective is to show case less established and up n coming Australian artists and give them an outlet to showcase their music to the rest of the world, but also accept track submissions from artists around the globe.
Aside from running his label he is also the founder and now one third of Western Australia's most exciting new production company "TDI Productions" and put on massive underground events "Damage Control" and "The Hardcore Remedy". Steve has also promoted two events during his time in Sydney, "A New Beginning" and "Nothing Suss" alongside Cranky Entertainment.
Steve started his career in early 2005 teaming up with Thrillseeka promoter and Gabber legend DJ Crystal who showed him the ropes and gave him an insight in to what the scene was all about. During his time in Sydney he was also apart of the Freeform quartet "Four Point Theory" alongside Dover, Focus and MC Rek.
Today you can catch Whiskey playing alongside a promising new producer by the name of Matt Luminate. Together they have established themselves as one of Australia's most exciting Hardcore DJ duo's.
Playing at WA's largest hard dance nightclub, Rise and for the many of the exciting new rave promoters in Perth. They have also picked up interstate bookings in Adelaide and have an up coming Brisbane booking in 2010.
In 2008 Steve was also voted in the top 3 category of the Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMA) "Best MC" award, no small feat as this category is usually dominated by Drum n Bass & Hip Hop MC's. He has also backed up again in 2009 and received a top 3 nomination for not only best MC, but also taking out the "All Ages Rave" category for his event "Damage Control".
The future looks to be very bright with a swag full of releases to come out in 2010, alongside collaborations with some exciting new names in the hardcore scene. These artists include:

Things are looking to be very productive and busy as he continues climbing the Australian hardcore ranks.
