Biografie
·Based in Antwerp 🇧🇪 after playing for two decades constantly evolving and perfecting his sound, he surely developed himself into a well-established artist today. At a very young age, he was influenced by classical and house music so rapidly discovered his passion for music. For as long as Akira has been mixing records, he has strived for the perfect groove and flow, the one that keeps you moving. His unique storytelling sound is a smooth journey of electronic & organic music in all its shapes and forms.
At the age of 17, he started working at the USA Import Record store in Antwerp selling vinyl to eventually earning himself a residency at the legendary Café d'Anvers.
Throughout the years he had the opportunity to travel abroad and play in London, Oslo, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Germany, Thailand, and Spain.
From The Gardens Of Babylon, Tomorrowland, and Warm Up to sharing the lineup with some of his biggest influences as Lost Desert, YokoO, Stimming, Guy J, and Behrouz to name a few.
After many years of trying to find his sound in the studio, the summer of '21 marked the date of his first release "Close To Itajai" released on the majestic Souksonic imprint curated by Lost Desert.
