KOPSTUK

- Rakesh otherwise known as Kopstuk.
His name very familiar to the crowd in his city Arnhem.
For years now this musician has created some of the better techno and deephouse tracks, besides that he accompany's students. Produces his own tracks and remixes. Kopstuk plays banging sets at many topnotch parties and to add too the list he owns the succesfull label "Deep Sense Records".
Kopstuk is no stranger to the nightlife in Arnhem. This producer started a good twenty years ago as a Hip-Hop DJ. Day in day out living and breathing his music and productions. Start of the 90's he discovered the sound of " Turn up the bass " which is a crossover between Hip-Hop and house music also called HipHouse. He made it his own with these compilations. Soon after he got caughts in the then upcoming electro scene.
Most of all "Kopstuk" is known for being part of the DJ Duo "Soulscum".
Kopstuk has filled many dancefloors spread over the whole of Holland. For a example being a main act performing as Soulscum at Free Your Mind (FYM) Festival 2011.
Internationally his sound is very much appreciated too, therefore Kopstuk was asked to perform at the WMC in Miami 2011.
Nowadays Kopstuk goes deeper into the techno vibe and creates a groove by making sure his BPM counter never glows.
