Biografie
ARtroniks is the electronic music project of Arne De Meyer. He started producing in 2006 and nowadays he also spins the decks. He initially got into producing by his dad who had a couple of synths and drum machines. At the age of 16 he won the Nokia Trends Lab remix competition with his remix version of Booka Shade's "Charlotte". He was given the opportunity to play in the chillout room of the famous 'I Love Techno' festival in Belgium.
ARtroniks kept on producing and remixing which resulted in a first prize winner of the Akai Pro Dub Gabriel 'No lies' remix competition in 2010. He was also favourited by the young UK producer Blynk. Up till now ARtroniks made a lot of own tracks covering a wide spectrum from ambient, techno and deep house to dubstep and minimal. He regularly uses his creative skills in remixes which are often challenges. The music of ARtroniks is a synergy of analogue and digital sounds melting together in a unique atmosphere. This as a result by using both hardware synths and software facilities.
ARtroniks often works on tracks together with musical friends from the UK, Germany and Belgium, all in versatile music styles. 2011 brought the first official releases for Dubtastic Records, DiaMind Records and Rest In Beatz.
