Biografie
·By day, Rob Anderson is responsible for schooling the industry's highest caliber DJ's as Pioneer DJ's dedicated Product Specialist. This is a role that has seen him become famous amongst the elite for his technical skills and ability on all Pioneer decks and FX units. By night, he's resident DJ & promoter of the London based YØU.R parties which he co-founded in late 2013
Since first gracing the decks of London's aquarium nightclub in 2007 with a residency at MiMo, Rob has put music production and DJing at the forefront. After a swift rise through London's underground party scene, he moved to Amsterdam in 2009 with an opportunity to study at The Sound & Audio Engineering Institute (S.A.E). It was here he gained international status with a regular slot playing at The Gataway DJ Café and the legendary Studio 80.
During his studies he also received invitations to play on the white isle at Ibiza's Zoo Project, Ibiza Global Radio & The Es Vive Hotel. Rob was hooked, and spent 2 summer seasons playing across ibiza. Many European bookings spawned from this and saw rob being flown to Belgium for frequent slots at Belgium's Eargasm Festival and Roots of Minimal Parties.
Rob spent the years, and countless gigs that followed playing across the UK and overseas. Honing his skills and developing his sound. He's now famed for his signature deep rolling sets, infused with chugging house and techno tracks from the artists he loves, as well as his own productions.
Jump to 2016, and Rob is back at his London base, where alongside working as an instrumental part of the European Pioneer DJ team, and releasing his debut track, Preachin E's, on the influential Under No Illusions Imprint, he's Co-Founded London based YØU.R events. A Brand that has literally exploded onto the London clubbing scene.
A Bi-Monthly residency at Trapeze (Formally East Village) in the heart of Shoreditch see's each YØU.R event host a high caliber Dj, who would otherwise never be seen playing to an intimate 350 capacity crowd. To date artists to grace the YØU.R decks are James Zabiela, Richy Ahmed, Flashmob, Luke Solomon, Reset Robot, Alex Arnout, Bearweasel and Cozzy D. With support from Rob Anderson as Resident.
As Summer 2016 rolls on, So does Rob's release schedule. With Forthcoming releases on Twisted Fusion and Kurvature records in August, and another remix set for Under No Illusion towards the end of the year.
