Sander Ellerman

Sander's Electronic journey began in the late 90's, it all started with two turntables and a mixer. Born in the vinyl age young Mr. Ellerman was continually collecting EP's and refining his mixing techniques. Slowly but steady he outgrew the comfort zone of his bedroom and his DJ-sets where getting noticed by the local promoters. Shortly after his sound became know, he acquired his first gigs at local underground parties such as 'Subculture' and the infamous 'Diepgezonken' raves.

After years of standing behind the wheels of steel it was time to take the next step. Playing other artists' records just wasn't enough anymore. To truly merge with the music, music had to be made. By decomposing the music and making his own tracks, his style became increasingly minimal. After spending every waking moment on producing in his homestudio, a love for weird and challenging music emerged. Heavy techno made room for more delicate tunes, subtle changes and well thought-out transitions took over and a new Sander was born. His music was getting noticed by more and more labels and requests for new releases started queuing up. Nowadays Sander has (upcoming) releases on much respected underground labels such as Bla Bla Music, Little Helpers, Medicine Musique, Malicious Smile, Moral Fiber, Yoruba Grooves, Konzentrisch Music, Zeitlos Music, PLUNK! and Lethal Script.

Now in 2014 the need to evolve has grown even more. With a pile of releases in the barrel, Sander is driven to kick it up another notch. With close friend and partner in crime, Wieger Bransz, he is determined to spread his vision on electronic music even more. You guessed right, a new label is born!! 2014 will be the birth year of 'Jelly Beast Recordings', an independent music platform for the young and creative.
