·Darren Tate, born on October 22, 1972, in London, England, is a renowned DJ, record producer, and classically trained composer. Fluent in piano, clarinet, and guitar, he studied advanced music at Leeds University, laying a strong foundation for his diverse musical career.
Throughout his career, Tate has adopted various pseudonyms, including Jurgen Vries, DT8 Project, Angelic (in collaboration with Judge Jules and Amanda O'Riordan), Orion, and Citizen Caned. Under these aliases, he has achieved notable chart success in the UK. Notably, as Jurgen Vries featuring CMC (Charlotte Church), he released "The Opera Song (Brave New World)," which reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart in February 2003.
