UK-based producer James Holden who has gained substantial fame for his tireless remixing and his instantly-recognizable ethereal style with a very apparent attention to detail. He garnered instant fame in 1999 with the release of his first 12", "Horizons / Pacific" on Silver Planet Recordings. "Horizons" was licensed to INCredible and became one of the biggest surprise hits of 1999. At the time James was only 19. He has since followed up with a handful of original productions, a slew of highly-regarded remixes, a pair of mix albums, and successful collaborations with Ben Pound and Van Bellen. In 2003, "Horizons" was eclipsed by the runaway popularity of "Nothing" (with Julie Thompson) and "A Break In The Clouds" (the first release on his own label Border Community).
