Hailing from Wicklow, Ireland, DECADANCE's dissatisfaction with the monotony of rural Ireland was alleviated through experiencing central Europe's illustrious rave scene whilst living in the Netherlands.
Now permanently based in Amsterdam, his productions aim to deliver hard hitting, fast paced techno whilst building cinematic atmospheres through the creation of emotional pads and energetic acid lines, often conveying feelings of euphoria and nostalgia.
His style of mixing is chaotic, aggressive & inspired by the old school tradition of transitioning tracks quickly whilst throttling the faders in the process. His passion for more old school, groove centric techno has intensified since experiencing the underground sound of Amsterdam. This has influenced the drum programming of his most recent productions, aiming to present hard techno with the rhythmic sound of the early 2000s in mind.

He has released heavily supported tracks with labels such as Eradys Records & Techno Wereld, with his debut vinyl release scheduled for next year with an infamous Parisian label. Beyond this, his music has filled the four walls of Berghain regularly in addition to frequenting sets by the likes of Dax J, Kobosil, SPFDJ & Shlømo.
In addition to this, he is a founder & resident of Dublin / Amsterdam based collective Thump, which has become renowned for throwing chaotic raves in unconventional locations, dedicated to further broadcasting the pleasures of hard and fast techno music.
