Biografie
DJ Vivona started spinning records and and collect vinyl at around 13 years of age. His great passion for music continued and he attained his Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory from acclaimed University of Palermo.
His dj set is an imaginative fusion between Deep and Tech sounds without any limit, until Electro vibes. His musical ispiration start from the soul of 70's sounds, passing by the Elettro flavor of the 80's.
He played with Seth Troxler, Tale Of Us, Craig Richards, Nic Fanciulli, Reboot, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Infinity Ink, David Morales, Dimitri From Paris, Argy, Moodymann, Miguel Campbell, Jon Cutler, Lil Louis, Marshall Jefferson to name a few, as well as being the hosting DJ for such international superstar performances by Jamiroquai, India, Barbara Tucker, Anane, Joi Cardwell and Monique Bingham. He also played outside his country. His music touched the dancefloor of the "Club 414" in London, "Ocean Ten", "Clevelander Hotel" and "Cafè Bustello" in Miami, and "Coco Maya", "The Room" and "Mandala" in Playa Del Carmen (Mexico). Dj Vivona partecipated like guest at Feel Real Festival, and played with Boddhi Satva, Ivan Diaz, Afshin and Greg Gauthier at the Djoon party in Sicily.
Dj Vivona is also a big worker in studio, always producing new songs and remixes. His producer career is signed by the following production. "Return To Love" singed by Joi Cardwell containing superb remix by Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper (aka Director's Cut), released on King Street Sounds. The song climb the Traxsource Top 10 Single. Another good hit was "Set Me Free" signed with Hi:Rise/Defected Records, supported by big names like Louie Vega, Quentin Harris, Kenny Carpenter and many more.
"To Another Day" feat. Miss D on Super Soul Music was another great tune that reached good positions on charts and collect great feedback by some of the biggest name of the House industry. The package contain remixes by Jon Cutler, N'Dinga Gaba, Frankie Feliciano, Jonathan Meyer, and Dj Spen & Soulfuledge in the 2nd part. The song was produced with an amazing official videoclip.
"Three" on Tony Records and "One Wish" feat. Ray Ceeh on United Music Records, are some of the latest release by Dj Vivona. "One Touch" on King Street Sounds also reached good positions on charts, with slamming remixes by Sossa and Jon Cutler.
Dj Vivona also worked on great remixes that coming soon. The bests until now are "Moment Before Dreaming", a great song by Ananda Project, and Muskidd "Grey Matter" with the incredible voice of Lazarusman.
