Biografie
Zambia-born, UK-based artist Joshua Mbewe, a.k.a. Laxcity, makes downtempo electronic music that draws on powerful chord progressions, textured ambience, vocal and other foley elements, to create immersive and intricate soundscapes with strong emotional resonance.
Laxcity's debut album, Catharsis, was released in December, 2018. Recently, he signed with Republic Records' ALT:VISION imprint.
