Biografie
It was 2008. The start of the financial crisis, a fair amount of earthquakes and Britney Spears with a mental breakdown.
Delbaen and Veebo, attracted to eachother by the universal language of rythm composers and ridiculous basslines, decided to join forces after they met at the legendary USA Import Music recordstore in Antwerp.
A weekly radioshow was born and little did they know this would be the very beginning of a decade full of synthesizer rapism and being broke.
The dynamic duo decided to co-house and pursue their quest for 'the perfect sound' in the 'mansion', puzzling the pieces of awesome gear together while drinking rum as if there was no tomorrow.
Almost (never) satisfied, in 2011 the boys decided to play live as a yearly celebration of love for reduced house music and Ricardo Villalobos. Pur Sang was ready to take on the world.
Ofcourse there would be no cake if there was no cherry on top and thus, after a steamy summer of 2017, Deep Down records was born.
A vein of pure black gold, risen from the always moist Belgian soil.
Epic releaseparty's followed at Ampère Antwerp with legends such as Thomas Melchior, David Gluck, Audio Werner and Fumiya Tanaka.
These nights of mayhem gave them the right push forward to release their first musical shenanigans on the newly respected labels Soblazn and What Now Becomes.
Now the time has come to harvest the superfruits of their work with their latest release on Deep Down, the 'Tricky EP', a true story written together with Ukranian micromaster Yaroslav Lenzyak.
Pur Sang is microhouse at its best, performed live on analog machines!
