ROOSENDAAL - De dode man die maandagochtend is gevonden in de Roosendaalse haven, is de 23-jarige Bart Christiaanen uit Bosschenhoofd. Volgens de politie is de jongeman zeer waarschijnlijk door een ongeluk om het leven gekomen.
De man werd sinds zaterdag vermist na een carnavalsfeest met vrienden in een café aan de Kade. Eén van zijn vrienden ging maandagmorgen zoeken en vond hem in de Roosendaalse Vliet.
De ouders van het slachtoffer deden op dat moment op het politiebureau aangifte van vermissing van hun zoon.
Bart Christiaanen is na het stappen kennelijk alleen weggegaan uit het café. Hij zou die nacht bij een familielid in Roosendaal gaan slapen.
Familie en vrienden probeerden hem zondag telefonisch te bereiken. Toen hij maandagochtend nog niet reageerde, werd groot alarm geslagen.
