9 november muzikism presents… pilot @ dj café Bootleg.

Rotterdam, 3 oktober 2006.

Het is precies een jaar geleden dat Muzikism.com haar entree maakte op het world wide web. Voor diegenen die nog niet bekend zijn met dit Rotterdamse initiatief hierbij een korte toelichting: Muzikism.com staat voor ‘Muzi(e)k in samenwerking met’ en komt voort uit een gedachtegoed waarin samenwerking als sleutel tot succes gekenmerkt wordt. Dit slaat zowel op de bestrijding van het illegale downloaden als op het Internationaal promoten van de Nederlandse artiest.

Muzikism.com heeft naast de functie van webshop ook de functie van medium; een kanaal voor Nederlandse artiesten en labels die Internationaal onder de aandacht gebracht willen worden. Naast de website en de daarbijbehorende promotieactiviteiten heeft muzikism een wekelijkse show op djbroadcast.fm en heeft ze een goedlopende t-shirt lijn. De eerste collectie ging als warme broodjes over de toonbank en was dan ook binnen no time uitverkocht bij Freshcotton.

Omdat de organisatie alles uit de kast wil halen om de aangesloten labels en artiesten te promoten heeft zij besloten om met ingang van volgend jaar speciale muzikism events te organiseren onder de noemer : Muzikism presents… Naast hometown Rotterdam staan ook Londen en Brussel op het programma.

Op 9 november a.s zal er tijdens de pilot van het REMF een try-out plaatsvinden in dj café de Bootleg. Hierbij zullen diverse artiesten die verantwoordelijk zijn voor muzikism’s best verkochte tracks, hun kunsten vertonen aan het publiek.

De line-up zal er als volgt uit gaan zien:

These days the music industry is struggling with many contradicting developments. At one side of the spectrum new talent is mushrooming, at the other record companies are going out of business. Consequently these new talents are not given the opportunity to be exposed to a mass audience. The high cost of music and illegal music downloads and copying, contribute directly to this.

De 10e editie club Kipfilet zal plaats vinden op een nader te bepalen locatie in ons land.
Zoals bekend is deze locatie strikt geheim en altijd weer op een andere plaats. Op deze manier is het voor iedereen altijd weer een verrassing hoe de volgende editie uit zal gaan pakken en blijft de orginaliteit van de formule gewaarborgd.
