Mad.


Begin jaren 70 , De dag begon zoals elke andere herfstdag onwetend welk onheil de mensen te wachten stond. De komst van het duivelskind was op handen. Deze nazaat van het slecht had enkele jaren nodig om zijn slechtheid tot volle wasdom te laten groeien en zijn zieke geest op de mensheid los te laten. Halverwege jaren '80 deed hij dit door in een deathmetalband te gaan spelen als drummer, na jarenlang verderf te hebben gezaaid op verschillende podia's ging de band uitmekaar en toen ontdekte hij begin jaren '90 de hardcore, samen met z'n maatjes Psyco en Reiner ( aka Radiate - Offensive Records ) bestrierde hun jarenlang toen de legendarische club Turn It Up in Elten ( 10 years resident dj ) en later nog in de Pyramide in Emmerich.
Sindsdien spreidt hij zijn evil over het hele land uit waar hij draaide op legendarische feesten en in de coolste clubs nationaal en internationaal o.a op Masters of Hardcore , Hellraiser , Earthquake , Internation festival , Harmony of Hardcore festival , Hellraiser Germany , Speedrazor Germany , Pokkeherrie , Army of Hardcore , Nightmare in Germany , De Goldfinger ( Rosmalen ) , Megarave , Partyraiser one man / half machine project enz.
Zijn sound is een mix van snoeiharde uptempo Hardcore met een vleugje Darkcore , Industrial en Metal oftewel gegarandeerd feestmuziek.

In the early 70's a day started like any other ordinary day in the autumn. Not knowing which evil was to come upon mankind. In the east of The Netherlands true evil was born. This evil took some time to grow and in the mid 80's he started to spread his evil through music. He started out as a drummer in a deathmetal band. He played a number of gigs with them and then he discovered hardcore in the early 90's. Together with his partners in crime Psyco and Reiner (aka Radiate - Offensive Records) he rocked the legendary Turn It Up in Elten Germany. Since then he has come a long way and played at many many parties such like Masters of Hardcore , Hellraiser , Earthquake , Internation festival , Harmony of Hardcore Festival , Hellraiser Germany , Speedrazor Germany , Nightmare in Germany , De Goldfinger ( Rosmalen ) , Megarave , Pokkeherrie , Army of Hardcore en Partyraiser one man / half machine project enz This is just a tip of the iceberg.
His sounds is a mix of up tempo Hardcore , Darkcore , Industrial & Metal.

Chong.


Stefan de Feyter aka Chong kwam in aanraking met hardcore in 1993. Het was liefde op het eerste gezicht! Elk weekend was hij samen met zijn vrienden wel te vinden op een hardcore feest. Eén van deze vrienden had 2 draaitafels thuis staan en voordat hij het wist stond Chong erachter. Binnen de kortse keren was Chong helemaal in de ban van Technics en een mixer. Chong was er niet achter weg te krijgen. Hij oefende en oefende van vroeg in de morgen tot laat in de avond. En nog steeds staat hij dagelijks achter de decks om zijn skills verder te ontwikkelen. Al deze tijd die hij er in heeft gestopt heeft geresulteerd in dat hij een absoluut weergaloze techniek heeft ontwikkeld, welke niet alleen een lust is voor het oor maar ook voor het oog. Dit heeft hem al menig 1e plaatsen opgeleverd bij diverse dj-contesten. Daarnaast heeft hij ook al behoorlijke feesten op zijn palmares staan waaronder Distorted Hardcore, T-Town Madness, Hossen en Sossen en vele andere feesten. Op elk van deze feesten heeft hij het publiek verrast doen staan met zijn rauwe industrial en zijn ongeëvenaarde skills. Industrial = Chong!!!


Stefan Ottens aka dj Chong first came in to contact with hardcore in the year 1993. It was love at first sight. From that moment he went almost evry weekend to hardcore parties with his friends. One of these friends had 2 turntables and a mixer at home. It didn't take long before Chong took place behind the decks. And in no time Chong was under the spell of the legendary Technics SL1200MK2. From early in the morning till late in the evening he practised his skills. All this time that he has put into it has resultated in an unequalled technique, not just for the ears but also for the eyes. This technique has brought him several 1st places in dj-contests and has brought him to play at many parties such as Distorted Hardcore, T-Town Madness, Hossen en Sossen and many more. At each one of this parties he has surprised the audiance with his raw industrial sound en peerless technique. Industrial = Chong!!!

Chris van Cleef.


Het hardcore virus kreeg Chris van Cleef op 16 jarige leeftijd in zijn greep en heeft sinds die tijd niet meer losgelaten. Chris van Cleef komt uit een zeer muziekale familie en het duurde dan ook niet lang voordat het alleen bezoeken van feesten niet meer genoeg voor hem was. In 1995 kocht hij zijn eerste draaitafels en platen. Al snel draaide hij voor publiek op verjaardagen, underground en illigale feesten en lokale clubs. In 1999 trof het noodlot hem hard. Door een alles verwoestende brand was hij in één klap al zijn platen en dj-gear kwijt. Maar het virus was hij hiermee niet kwijt... Na een aantal jaar naar feesten te blijven gaan begon het toch weer te kriebelen. Langzaam begon hij weer met platen kopen en in 2004 besloot hij dan toch weer draaitafels aan te schaffen om zijn honger naar hardcore te stillen. Wat een aantal jaar geleden is begonnen als het oppakken van een hobby is nu uitgegroeid tot een grote passie. Zijn stijl kenmerkt zich als hard en duister. Chris van Cleef combineert alle stijlen hardcore en creeert op deze manier een unieke sound. Deze sound heeft hem al de nodige successen opgeleverd. Zo stond hij op Earthquake, Army of Hardcore, Hardcore Extremis, Pokkeherrie, Toxication, Internation festival, Mad's bday bash, T-Town Madness en vele andere feesten. Hiernaast vormt hij met zijn maatjes Feico ten Brink (aka Zemtec - Seismic rec & aka Dark Destination - Coolman rec) en Michiel van Eekhout het producers trio Section 8. Een van 's werelds grootste darkcore labels, DNA Records, heeft al interesse getoond in hun producties. Hier valt in de toekomst nog veel van te verwachten...


The hardcore virus got a hold on Chris van Cleef at the age of 16 and has not let go since then. Chris van Cleef comes from a very musical family and it was no surprise that visting hardcore parties alone wasn't enough for him. In 1995 he bought his first set of turntables and records and got started dj-ing. It didn't take long before he played at birthday parties, small underground parties and at local clubs. But in 1999 faith struck in a very nasty way. A fire destroyed all his records and his gear. But it didn't destroy the virus... After a couple of years just visiting parties the virus gave him that itch again. He started buying records again and in 2004 he deceided to get his own gear again. What began a few years ago as restarting his hobby is now a great passion. His style of hardcore is unique, it's hard and dark. He combines all styles of hardcore to create his specific sound. This sound has brought him many successes, he played at Earthquake, Army of Hardcore, Hardcore Extremis, Pokkeherrie, Toxication, Internation festival, Mad's bday bash, T-Town Madness and many other parties. Together with his buddies Feico ten Brink (aka Zemtec - Seismic rec & aka Dark Destination - Coolman rec) en Michiel van Eekhout he started producing under the name Section 8. One of the world's leading darkcore labels, DNA Records, has already shown interest in some of their productions. The future is looking good...
